TUL Corporation, a leading manufacturer of AMD graphics cards, introduced an innovative cooling technology into the PCS+ HD5770 series: the PCS+ HD5770 Vortex Edition. This special edition offers the flexibility for users to manually adjust the fan and its physical attributes, providing better air flow to effectively cool down the temperature up to 15°C when compare to reference design.

The PCS+ HD5770 Vortex Edition also features factory overclocking with core and memory
clocks at 900 MHz and 1225 MHz respectively. With the cooling ability seen in the Vortex
Edition, it allows more headroom for overclocking that maximizes performance releasing
more potential for gaming power.

The Vortex - Whirlwind Technology
The Vortex Cooling System draws air from around the graphics card and funnels that air into
the center of the card to effectively cool vital components. Our Vortex technology gives
users the ability to manually adjust the fan and its physical attributes--something that has never been done before on a video card. Vortex technology offers the most innovative way to lower temperatures with quieter operation and helping to prolong the life cycle of the video card.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare2 continues the gripping and heart-racing action as players face off against a new threat dedicated to bringing the world to the brink of collapse. This game delivers the most realistic, immersive and exhilarating racing experience to gamers.

"PowerColor offers an attractive option which features a brand-new cooling technology with additional factory overclocking," said Ted Chen, CEO of TUL Corporation. "We never compromise-so here's the solution which can bring the ultimate gaming performance in a better cooling environment!"

The PowerColor PCS+ HD5770 Vortex edition will be available on July 28th.

I've honestly got to admit, if I saw that packaging on store shelves, it would definitely catch my eye. But not for long, because I would be on the floor laughing my ass off.

How much do you suppose was paid (if anything) for that box art?

It looks as a toy box, but what is inside that is what really matters

i dont get it?

a fan that moves up & down? innovative?

Compared to the profits they'll make, not much.

did some kind of fan rape a camaro on that box?

The box art is ridiculous. But is that an AMD Vision Black badge on it? Didn't know they put Vision badges on graphic cards too. Thought it was just for the notebook market.

In the words of Tom Hanks in BIG, "I don't get it."

July 28th?
Looks like i will pick up mind in mid aug :)
I am going to buy this one for real
