Gigabyte introduced a new newer "Extreme Overclock" variant of its GeForce GTS 450 WindForce graphics card, carrying the model number GV-N450OC2-1GI. On launch day of the GTS 450 GPU, Gigabyte had released its first overclocked WindForce graphics card. The Extreme Overclock variant features a high GPU core clock speed of 930 MHz (vs. 783 MHz reference), 1860 MHz CUDA cores (vs. 1566 MHz), and 1000 MHz or 4.00 GHz GDDR5 effective (vs. 900 MHz/3.60 GHz) memory. It uses a slightly longer PCB built with Gigabyte's Ultra Durable VGA construction, and a dual-fan GPU cooler the company calls "WindForce". It is available now, priced at US $149.99.

150 bucks :D
When this thing hits my country, probably will go up to 200+ :banghead::banghead:
Oh damn :respect:

Looks very nice!!

beauty of a card

I dunno, GTX 460 768mb is inching pretty close to $150.

I would consider picking this up to try out PhysX, but I have no wish to become embroiled in an obsolete driver saga. Seems like a nice card.

Sorry, what?

Sorry, what?

Short derail to respond (apologies):

Nividia actively turned off support when an ATI card is detected. This is proven by the fact that leaked beta drivers allow a "hybrid" graphics set up to work; however, these drivers, beta to begin with, are aging quickly and, as far as I'm aware, this possibility will not be enabled on any official future driver releases, whereby, I pass.

How to use a Nvidia card as Physx w/ATi

these are good cards they just improved gtx 260 192 core cards performance. They weren't slouches either but these are even faster and basically a update.
