Mushkin Enhanced (Mushkin) released two new DDR3-1600 MHz (PC3-12800) memory kits bearing the company's Radioactive-themed FrostByte heatspreaders. The release includes a 4 GB (2x 2 GB) dual-channel kit best suited for socket LGA1156 systems, and a 6 GB (3x 2 GB) triple-channel kit, best suited for LGA1366 systems. The modules operate at 1600 MHz with timings of 7-9-7-24, with module voltage of 1.65V. Backed by a lifetime warranty, the 4 GB kit is priced at US $67.49, and the 6 GB one at $101.49.

Yea after I already got my new memory.

not really what i call low latency

I'd say about average latency. Nice pricing though.

i def agree on the pricing.... very affordable :D

not really what i call low latency

You should know that stock speeds (& timings) mean nothing to people who don't buy pre-built crap like Dell/Gateway/HP. ;)

As for the kit? I like the price and I don't actually mind the colour lol

7.7/10.

good thing i havent built me next pc yet, i may just grab the 4gb kit of these.

Hah! Low latency? I'll continue enjoying my two year old Mushkin 996601 -- 2x2GB 1600mhz 7-7-6-18 stock speed.

I must admit when i saw the title "new low latency DDR3" for a moment i hoped for some CAS 5 DDR3.... guess i was hoping for too much

If you want cheap and high performance RAM, take a look at Exceleram. Guys at OC-Lab Slovenia like their stuff a lot.

My Gskill ripjaws does 7-7-7-24 at 1600Mhz @ 1.65V.

Mushkin could've called this the Muskin Low-Latency DDR3-1600 MHz 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R edition' Memory kits
