as far as i know, thats been out for a while on newegg. i know that when i was looking at upgrades a few weeks ago i saw it.

I am glad to see they are going with the DD block, so far it is the best designed block for the 8800GTX I have seen. most of the others use an aluminum copper mix, which doesn't play well in a water loop.

Maybe you're right, but I recieved the mail with the press release today. :) Also according to BFG Tech this card is officially available from yesterday: Lake Forest, IL – (January 29, 2007)

I thought that when I saw it on newegg it was the normal version only. I think the overclocked version that this news article is about is the one that just came out and just became available.

Yeah, Newegg must have gotten ahold of some early releases, someone on here posted a link for this card for their first system build :)

lol costs a fortune

i dont see the point in these pre clocked boards... some ive seen have the snot clocked out of them and they only give like another 10FPS, not worth the price premium imo, id still take a X1800XT\X1900XT or a 7950GT until half decent DX10 cards come out, an then id go get something like a 8600GT.
