Nick Shih hits 7.93GHz With AMD A10-5800K Overclocked To 7.93GHz

WHAT!?!?!? Nobody is hating on the man? I'm shocked at that alone...btw Great Overclock.:toast:

Curious, is there a theoretical maximum to overclocking? I know a ton of variables come into play here, but I'm still interested to know what people think about that.

As the clock reaches infinity, it becomes exponentially more difficult to contain the variables that affect its failure.

In other words, you are looking at the current theoretical maximum.

In my country, a couple is two.

Further, and this will be the last thing I say about this, him asking what gigahertz it was was nonsensical. Those numbers are the same, and the numbers throughout the original post make it clear it was 7.93. So no, no one said anything about it being redundant.

Also, I'm not upset about your comment. I'm simply pointing out the fact that you were wrong on both counts.

I am post count 3. I was pointing out the redundancy with out being direct about it. I was showing the redundancy not saying there is one.

When I read "I am post count 3", I read it in my head as Edward Norton in Fight Club.

The next person to go after one of these records please identify yourself as "MagicDick "

What ghz was it?

What makes this Nick the best overclocker? I would think that with the same hardware, some of our more knowledgeable members here could get the about the same results.
Thanks You, I'm on it :D
