ASUS RT-N66U is a great router very fast

I have a Netgear WNDR4300 and love it. Very fast
I also have a Linksys E4200 and not as fast but better range
I have set up many Netgear WNDR3700. The "go to" router. Reliable fast DD-WRT suport

IMHO DD-WRT is over rated. Firmware nowadays is robust enough to handle insane traffic. Unless you want bandwidth shaping or just like tinkering.

The Western Digital routers are very nice. Easy to set up, fast, reliable. A better QoS system then DD-WRT. But they look like Tupperware that you would put your lunch in

RT-N66u is awesome. However I just received a Western Digital MyNEt N900 and the QoS system is far superior.
