Yes you can do that all pll i did.I Suggest that you remove the processor which cover very carefully inserted into his socet LGA 1155 (my 3770K). was very easy to damage the pins. I suggest that the processor adheres to the adhesive tape on the sides that would not move out of the bay. Imoj EK CPU block is a reduced temperature of 60 degrees Celsius at 5 gh. Use: The Maximus extrime, EK Suprime LTX Nickel CPU Block. D5 pump Ek coolant, 2x 140 x 55 EK radiator.2 FENS 1300th on Svich 810 installed below ...

The Supreme HF uses a different mounting system so I doubt this would be safe to use with it, without risking crushing the die.

I find it funny that a company has to cater to something like this. It shouldn't be this large of an issue. 10-15C of difference delidding is horrible on Intel's part.
