While NVIDIA's recently launched GeForce GTX 780 is available in a plethora of custom-designs, the GeForce GTX TITAN, which is based on the same reference-design PCB, is limited to those with factory-fitted water-blocks, or NVIDIA's reference-design cooler, that's not to say that we don't like the sexy space-age cooler. GIGABYTE is itching to circumvent NVIDIA's restriction on custom-design air coolers, with an interesting bundle. The company plans to bundle its new WindForce 3X 450W VGA cooler, with select batches of NVIDIA reference design GTX TITAN cards, with instructions on how end-users can replace NVIDIA's cooler with GIGABYTE's, without affecting warranty from GIGABYTE's side. One such user-retrofitted GeForce GTX TITAN was spotted at Computex, which looks nearly identical to the GeForce GTX 780 WindForce OC, and the GTX 770 WindForce OC. The bundle will be marketed as GV-NTITAN-6GDB.
