Razer, one of the world's pioneering supporters of e-Sports, and Marcel "The Flying Dutchman" Luske, one of the world's most recognized and respected professional poker players, have formed an exploratory partnership to see how Razer can impact the world of online poker.

In 2001, Marcel went from playing poker in market cafes to contesting hands at professional tables, and has since amassed more than USD$4,085,000 in live tournament winnings. With a top-10 finish at the 'World Series of Poker' and 20-some-odd additional 1st place finishes, Marcel already stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the most prominent names in poker history.

Video gamers and poker players are not mutually exclusive individuals. In fact, it is not uncommon for professional gamers to transition to poker when they finish competing in their chosen titles... With information gained through work with Luske, Razer plans to apply its competence in creating products for e-Sports success to other types of online games, such as poker.

"I cannot believe the speed of this laptop," said Luske. "The graphics are ultra-sharp, portability is great and the unique user interface is what I like best. It allows me to check emails, social media feeds and YouTube, all while I'm still playing and focusing on my new style game. Without doubt, the Razer Blade is helping my online game and allowing me to take it to a new level. All tradesmen and women have their favored tools for their trade? mine is now, unquestionably, the Razer Blade."

I don't even ...

They got some jabroni to advertise a laptop basically.

Why would anyone care what some poker player thinks, or more appropriately paid to think, about a laptop.

Just an insanely stupid example of modern marketing.

bwahaha, that speech he gives.

Here's the new improved marketing campaign:

I think this is a bit stupid really, and I think the quote by him is balls, I bet he never even said that.

Tradesman...and women? LOL what is this 1955?

EEee Dooiiiiii!!! DrrrrRRRRR!!!

Yea, that says it all..

Does this make us better at poker or gaming? They should make a poker stars edition with real green felt poker table cloth on the hand rest and keys!

Next up, green felt pro grade mouse mat.

i'm a grinder and ffs razer, ffs :slap:

that picture makes that guy look like a real horses ass.

What is this ad trying to say really?

Poker players are gamblers.
Some say buying razer products is a gamble.

Or is it this pro poker player would without a doubt gamble his money on the quality of this razer product?

Otherwise a Pro poker player in a ad with a laptop made by a company which bases it's hardware around gaming makes little sense to me.
