DeepCool Announces GamerStorm Lucifer CPU Cooler

DeepCool found it appropriate to name a product after he who must not be named. Classified under its premium GamerStorm brand, DeepCool Lucifer is a large tower-type CPU cooler. Its heatsink measures 140 x 110 x 163 mm, 26 mm thicker with the fan attached; weighing 1,097 g. Its design consists of a mirror-finished nickel-plated copper base, through which six 6 mm-thick heatpipes emerge, fanning out across the two edges of the aluminum fin stack.

The somewhat "H"-shaped fins of the cooler have jagged edges to increase turbulence, and with it, heat dissipation. A 140 mm PWM-controlled fan ventilates the heatsink. It spins between 700 and 1,400 RPM, pushing up to 81.33 CFM of air, with noise output ranging between 17.8 to 31.1 dBA. Luckily for DeepCool's brand image, the GamerStorm Lucifer is being introduced only in the Greater China region, where buyers are more likely to be either oblivious or indifferent to the name.

DeepCool air cooling solutions cool great. They have a few that are not off the Noctua D-14. Grat product, great design but finding them in the US is impossible(I think) due to lack of distribution.

yeah i have assasin. but they have 'not well' retention kit.
so far deepcool stuff looks pretty attractive and their performance is good. you just need some touch to get it better and dont forget their price

This one's retention kit shouldn't be much different from Akasa's. X-shaped backplate, H-shaped frontplate, bolts. AMD users are shortchanged, and probably have to install it "upwards." Sigh...

If your machine overheats with this on, does the cooler burst into flames and spawn the Devil?

Nice cooler, and good mounting kit, shame it's only for the Chinese market.

Isn't 1kg to much for a cooler that sits sideways on something? If it was bolted to the case (as some OEM's did it in the past), but on the motherboard? I wouldn't want to have that. Unless it has beastly performance.

Yes i would be hesitant to put in a tower case myself,would be really good for a bench setup tough.
