Hello,
(Uploaded Photo Of Card Memory In My Last Post)
I need to do a cleanup on my well used Gainward Bliss 7800GS+ Golden Sample Silent FX AGP graphics card but unfortunately I only have the card I'm using in my computer at the moment and no money to buy a new card to replace while I'm cleaning...putting down new thermal compound, cleaning dust from fan, etc. The thermal pads on the VRAM (512MB) are dirty and falling apart so I realized I needed to replace the thermal pads but I never measured the vram chip dimensions that last time I took apart the card to clean and put down new thermal compound for better cooling results.
I see that computer supply stores have small sheets of the thermal compound pads in all kinds of different measurements. Since I only have one G card I'm unable to take out the card and measure the vram without going without my computer...which is not possible since I work from home on my computer...and do not have a backup Comp. Right now money is tight but I should buy a small inexpensive laptop in the near future to use just in case I need to do work on my desktop and this puts it out of commission.
Does anyone here know what the measurement is for a single DDR (VRAM) memory chip on the Gainward Bliss 7800GS+ Golden Sample Silent FX AGP graphics card? Any help would be truly appreciated. Cheers
