*looks at what month it is* :fear:

it's too early for the ~2 week whql to call it .10

What the deuce? A little early isnt it?
Not that I'm complaining about timely driver fixes.

When you have Tom's Hardware trying to convince everyone with new articles every week that frame passing is not working, or, it is working but it is not enough to touch Nvidia's SLI, the only way to respond, the only correct way to respond, is to accelerate your efforts with the drivers.

Do you have any issues with the second card throttling in Windows desktop?

Time to see if the same bug happens with my single gpu config with these drivers where game slowdown occurs after the monitor has auto turned off like in the 13.8 betas.

OMG way to go Amd!

The frame pacing bug must have bit ya having a new driver so fast!!!
Installing NOW whoot! :rockout:

WHQL Version plz.

working fine here on my 5K cards, no trouble in saints row IV in crossfire.

Isn't that correct though? I mean SLI working better.

Sweet dl'ing now

Yes it is better. But, when was the last time they organized an event to prove that a positive development was just not good enough? And the timing they organized that, only a few days before the new driver comes out, is a little suspicious if not just a coincidence.

I wonder if these will make any boost on my HD7950 in Natural Selection 2. It's the only game that i care about right now. Especially since the last update that brought DirectX 11 rendering.

if its got DX11, there should be benefits. maybe not an FPS boost, but it should be smoother.

Wait, NS2 was dead (literally only dozens were playing it lol). Devs had killed it with the terrible patches. Has it been revived?

OT, sorry.

It's interesting is they released a Mobility version for what seems only pacing improvements? Didn't think there's all that many C-F laptops. I suppose a couple of tweaks and the improvements cross-over so why not...

i've got one, although its the stupid dual graphics variant.

this works very well even without the crossfire, i'm quite glad the mobility drivers are getting updated.

Dude its Toms Hardware who gives a flying f.

No wonder games don't get enough attention if such ridiculous rumors are spreading around. It was well alive before the latest DX11 update and now it's even more popular. From my experience far mora than even CS:S or CS:GO, though many will say i'm making it up. People are playing it in the morning, afternoon, evening, hell i was playing it at 3 AM CET time and the servers were crowded. UK, French, German and Russian servers.

Sure there are certain things to get fixed, but frankly, CS:S is still the same rubbish as it was on day one. Same for CS:GO. Even after countless updates that should improve things.

The thing is, NS2 is a VERY complex game and people who like CounterStriek and similar games just won't pick it up because it's too complicated for them. So many upgrades, so many classes, so many tricks and tactics, unique interaction between players and commander, blend of FPS and RTS, base building etc. I'm playing it for almost 12 hours a day for the last 2 weeks and i'm barely getting the hang of it. But when you do, it's so rewarding and really awesome feeling.

Anyway, yeah a bit OT, but i hope it will improve things a bit. The graphics are spectacular otherwise, it's just that framerate is sometimes a bit choppy.

I wouldn't think reviewers' have yet to receive any Volcanic Island cards, so we can figure there’s another Catalyst Beta/Release driver in three weeks.

had a few crashes playing Grid2 last night at max overclock in the CCC.

No other driver has done that before. But looks and runs very well clocked down a tad.

So far so good.

No slowdown/lag with particle effects after monitor has auto turned off with my single card setup.

Well done AMD well done.
