Seems pricey for a Bronze unit when you can get Rosewill Capstone modulars (Gold rated, Super Flower OEM) for a little to a lot less depending on the wattage. Even the ancient Seasonic X-750 is a steal when it's rarely $99.

Bronze rated PSUs are pretty much obsolete IMO when it only takes a minute difference in components or design to have a quality gold or platinum PSU. Maybe if these were designed for some OE case maker selling budget cases, but as a retail item it would not be the best value or choice for mist consumers, especially PC enthusiasts.

Can't quite agree with this. Look at Silverstone for a second. I really like their ML05 case for my next build. It only supports SFX PSUs. Now check the price of a GOLD rated SXF PSU and then a bronze rated SXF. I'd gladly take a 45 euro beQuiet bronze SFX for my HTPC any day instead of doulbe or triple the price for what? a gold rated 450W SFX psu? Because a low profile card will eat up 90W? Bronze standard has its place one way or another.

Budget and budget. My PSU cost about €30. These are quite pricey for modular bronze.
