Sapphire announced its Radeon R9 290X graphics card lineup, which includes a reference design board that sticks to AMD reference clock speeds of 1000 MHz core, and 5.00 GHz memory; and a Battlefield 4 Special Edition SKU that includes an Origin key to the game. Both products are based on AMD's reference board design. Based on the 28 nm "Hawaii" silicon, the R9 290X features 2,816 stream processors, 176 TMUs, 64 ROPs, 4 tessellation units, and a 512-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface, holding 4 GB of memory. The lineup starts at US $549.99.

Sapphire: "This card is going to have stickers on it!" "IT MUST HAVE THEM!"

So Sapphire is no longer featuring hot babes in the boxart. Instead uses that weird robot thing with a heatsink for hair.
I don't know what to make of this world anymore... :(

Not all gamers are men, you know. Just a little fan service for the ladies this time. You're welcome, ladies.

Nice one

i would think a mechanical metallic robot is more interesting to more men than women (or kids? though i do like robots)

not all female characters are unattractive to all women, or even not all (straight?) men would care about the character

yadayadayada, a robot actually makes more sense than an unrelated movie quality lady character for something related to 'gaming'

I was joking about the fan-service bit, y'know. :p

Women are often desired for public-facing jobs. That's because they're the superior half of our species which is why we put them on box art. It's science.

god, i love sapphire cards

dem aesthetics

I actually like the look of that. Nice Sapphire!
