Is my memory limiting my E6300 OC?

I'm stuck at 3.06 with my new E6300/DS3 setup. I've made every bios adjustment I can think of making to get beyond this. I've increased voltage on the cpu, memory etc. I've dropped the memory multiplier to 2x 1:1. I've updated to the newest bios. I've also run memtest for an hour with no errors. I just can't get it over 437 fsb without failing Orthos after an hour or so. Could it be that my memory is limiting my OC? Per some reviews at Newegg (I know you can't count on these reviews), the memory will go over 900. This is my memory:

my setup stops at about the same place (445 fsb). i think its the memory (adata ddr2 800)

Probably. For the hell of it set your host clock where you're trying to get and let your mb set volts/mem timings. Ive got the same mb/cpu and that worked on an oc i wasn't able to get manually,if it boots then you can see what settings it used. . Theres a good chance it's memory or your bios, f10 is working good for me.

i was going to get some gskill (ddr2 800) 2 see if it oc`ed better..so cheap these days!!

Yeah, I RMA'd the ram. I then purchased a 2GB set of OCZ Platinum DDR800 Rev.2. I think these will better....I hope anyways.

You could always set a memory divider. If your computer still cuts out at the same speed, there's a very good chance it's not your memory.

I have this ram, and I hit 940Mhz 4-4-3-5 stable, with just 2.15v on my old ECS KA3 MVP mobo. On this DFI, I can run them at 1100Mhz 5-5-5-15 with 2.3v. I haven't tried any higher because my board is quirky, and doesn't like certain combinations of cpu multi and ram dividers.

I know it isnt your mobo or cpu, unless you are very unlucky! I have had 480FSB stable 1:1 with 2.3v on the ram! THe only problem with the DS3 you cant put a memory multiplier into play! Im sure your new ram will do you better, also get a aftermarket cooler for the northbridge, they get damn hot otherwise

why whats this is that my kingston going back in the box? why yes yes it is, and a shipping label? a restocking fee? hmm something fishy goin on.
