I keep seeing some nice looking ultra wide monitors from LG. For instance...

These 2560x1080 monitors seem perfect for coding, desktop work since it essentially replaces two monitors with one giant one. I am curious to know what gaming would be like on one of them? The response rates don't seem great and with that kinda resolution wouldn't the aspect ratio be all wonky?
