Biostar Outs GeForce GTX 750 Ti Gaming OC Graphics Card

Biostar made a comeback to graphics cards after a long sabbatical, with a new GeForce GTX 750 Ti based graphics card, the GTX 750 Ti Gaming OC. Based on a custom-design that we guess could be originally designed by either Onda or Galaxy, the card features a custom-design dual-fan cooling solution, which consists of a solid aluminium heatsink, which is ventilated by a pair of 80 mm spinners. The card offers factory overclocked speeds of 1059 MHz core, 1137 MHz GPU Boost, and an untouched 5.40 GHz memory, compared to reference speeds of 1020/1085 MHz. Display outputs include two dual-link DVI, and a mini-HDMI. The card features 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, across its 128-bit wide memory interface. Based on the 28 nm GM107 silicon, the GTX 750 Ti features 640 CUDA cores based on the "Maxwell" architecture.

Biostar are now doing the GPU AIB game again? Sounds good to me, as long is isn't cheap crap. Some of their newer motherboards were definitely on track. I hope they have the sense to send one for a review.

Personally I don't like so much this brand, they feature Regular products, so I won't invest my money on them, Video card seems to be cheaper, in other words I don’t trust this hardware so much, even when biostar it's world's BIOS and parts supplier and manufacturer of other brands like gigabyte, MSI, Asus and so many others,

Kinda-sorta. It is a Maxwell GPU so it's still relevant as a nice entry level GPU.

why? is the Wellsburg/Hasswell-E platform a real hit of the year (performance wise? 10%~ générale 25%~ memory?) ? technically the X99 is a minority (thanks intel and the price range of the 5xxxX line), ok ok enough for the joke ... (except the end part)

but if Biostar would make a decent X99 at a decent price (who would still cost the total price of my mainrig when you add a CPU and a DDR4 kit ) it would be a rather good one i reckon.

Well, someone might need to build cheaply. Take this 2GB version, couple it with a highly clocked Pentium Anniversary Edition, and you have yourself a capable, basic gamer for cheap. Actually considering a build like that myself!

You may be associating the 750Ti with the Kepler line since it has a 7xx name. Both the GTX 750 and 750Ti are Maxwell GPUs and there is still a place for entry level Maxwells until 16nm Pascal arrives.

Never see Biostar graphics cards on the market in Europe, do they sell graphics cards in the USA anymore, I sometimes see old cards pop up on eBay from time to time.
