Announcing the world's first consumer 2000W power supply unit on the market. Super Flower and Ian '8Pack' Parry have collaborated to produce an extreme PSU that can handle 4-Way SLI and 4-Way CrossfireX with ease, and with efficiency levels of up to 94%. Offering extreme power without compromises, the 8Pack way.

8Pack is the world's number one overclocker, with several hundred records broken and many competitions smashed, he is known for benching high end hardware, from processors to graphics cards, and also his ultra high-end systems range exclusive to Caseking Group.

8Pack draws huge amounts of power when benching and a powerful power supply is highly important. Multi Award winning Super Flower power supplies are renowned for being extremely reliable and stable, together with the knowledge of 8Pack, they have developed a unit that is the highest wattage power supply on the market with a platinum rated efficiency.

One of 8Pack's signature systems, the 8Pack Supernova has been updated with the addition of new 2000W Super Flower power supply.

Its....Its...Beautiful

Something to get excited about in the lands serviced by 230VAC.

166.6A

Thant's a lot of current carrying ability

:rockout:

Definitely not my cup of tea. Like, when in my life I am ever gonna need 2kW of power to run my PC? Charge my car battery more likely. Bitching aside, I guess there are people out there that DO need this kind of PSU, I just ain't one of them.

Indeed. Something inside me can't wait for the ever-present complaints that this product is "crap" because their US outlet won't deliver the full 2000W. It always happens.

funny. who is using floppy connector?

anyway, me want one. but I need to sell my ax1500i first :D

I barely use half of my entire 1000w Seasonic Platinum. I don't think I need a PSU twice the size.

I'm sure there is a market for this but I can't think of any way that I would be able to make use of that much juice. I don't think four R9 290X in QuadFire would need that many amps.

It would suit a home mining rig with a few Asics hooked up.

All the quadfire 290X Unigine Heaven high scores use 2 1000+W PSUs. So yes there is a use. Also the R9 380X will apparently have a 300W TDP so those would also benefit.

You know above 850W I like PSUs with multiple rails because to trip the 12V OCP on units like this one you would need a short with an electrical resistance of less than 0.075 ohms. So you could easily run this thing shorted without OCP kicking in and cause a fire or you could use it to arc weld.

I wonder if you can rig it to power 2 maybe upto 4 machines at a time?

If you could get a splitter (one to two) for the 24 pin cable then it could be possible, there are two 8 pin outlets for CPU's and enough PCI-e and SATA connectors.

Asic`s use much less energy than GPU`s I think you will have trouble finding place for asic`s if they were all connected to this psu.

Per chip. There are ASIC rigs that consume way more than any gpu.

I do, on my Scythe Kaze Master Pro 5,25".

These are just for bragging rights as no one actually needs a 2000w PSU.

Specialy not since CPUs and GPUs get lower TDP. Not to mention SSDs.

Sorry Super Flower, but this isn't the first 2000w consumer power supply. You're about 6 years too late...

so tell me, if pcs are getting more energy efficient why do we have over 500 watt PSUs then?

Nice power.Nice officiency . More mosfets on 1600 Titanium model ,version i guess .but I do not like how and what types of mosfets are used . Cooling areas do not have, and look like stickers that will be difficult to withstand 10 years of operation in dust .I would opt for a different mosfets..

Better question is who is building an ultra high end desktop and using a floppy drive?
