I don't get the hate. X50- series has always been entry class gaming cards for nVidia. Depending on the games you play, you simply might not want anything else. If you play SC2 competitively in your free time, you don't exactly need gtx970 to do that. And it's not exactly the first contest from TPU in partnership with Gigabyte.

Really? I have a 750ti and it is a pretty good card. It can play most games 1080p at 60fps, and many of them at maximum settings. I may have a 970 in my main rig to get 120fps for a 120hz monitor, but if I had a 60hz 1080p monitor I don't see the need for anything more than a 750ti.

Well, 750Ti I have had never ever reached 60 fps in Witcher3/1080p, that was sad (but it's the game to be blamed).

As I said, most games. I don't even mean future games. For the mid range card that it is, I expect it to not do as well in future games.
