Ever since this I've been getting intermittent odd pages (like TPU forum, only being devoid of graphics) and occasionally, claims that a connection to localhost failed (I'm assuming something with PHP?), I'll screenshot it if it happens again.

Just fixed the memcache problem, we moved it out of the instances (where it would be on localhost), onto a separate host that's accessed from all web instances

front page and forum is loading fine. although i felt a
little slower in loading times. about 1 to 5 secs slower.

The first pageload on https will be slower because it has to get everything loaded into cache. Browsing should be faster from then on, especially on large pages with lots of images.

Okay, more info. I get that error when I try to get to that thread from https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/folding-essentials-tutorials.108270/ . But if I try to open it from the sub-forum, it works just fine.

Hmm...I wonder if you need to clear out your cert stored for the site. I have no cert issues browsing any aspect of TPU, but maybe that's a "yet" to happen. Hopefully it's a local thing you can resolve...or W1z gets on it if it's an issue with the TPU SSL.

Edit: Seems maybe to be striking more... Zepp posted right before me.
