PowerColor Outs "Unlocked BIOS" for RX 480 RED Devil

I've read that the power section of stock 480X is stronger then the Fury X part.

So 175W is'nt a sweat.

They are 25A not 25W. People need to read the boxes better.

U don't need wc to flash this bios the devil air cooler should be able to handle this bios tooo_O
"PowerColor strongly recommends against using the modded card with FurMark as the company found that it will damage even non-overclocked cards with the new BIOS"
in their words. so i think that a wc solution would be the better choice.

If you look at the reviews for the card without this Bios they were getting them into the 80's in certain heavy load situations, with the Bios I am guessing 90 degrees possibly, that is within headroom but personally I would not want my card spending prolonged periods at those temps but possibly if this Bios comes with a more aggressive fan profile then we may not see those kind of temps in any case.

i wouldn't like that either, even with ramped up fans i think that high temps are unavoidable, that's why for this card water cooling is the best choice imo.
