I don't rush in a game. I generally take about 50% longer to complete than the average gamer according to this site http://howlongtobeat.com/ Rushing through a game turns it into work for me rather than play.

Being a Completionist is another thing that I never do.

Personally I don't mind a campaign that's on the shorter side. If they get too long then it can feel endless and I get too impatient to finish the game. This can easily lead to me leaving it half completed as I find it increasingly hard to get back to it and am therefore left feeling unsatisfied. It's similar to leaving a movie halfway through and never getting back to it.

Also, a shorter campaign might be of higher quality too in terms of storyline, but especially technically in terms of graphics quality ie textures, character animations etc, because these things are expensive to produce well.

Quantity ≠ Quality in some games. I too would rather have a shorter game that is a lot of fun rather than a longer game is longer because it is packed with boring missions and quests that pull me out of immersion.

Just finished the Infinite Warfare, and seriously, now I can completelly understand why people are hating COD games by now. Ridiculous short campaign - I mean seriously, after I finish it, I just felt like I've been playing the Introduction only... I mean, wth!! Also, this game has no soul in it! I mean it. The characters in this game have such a huge potentials, being good actors and all, however, the missions are flat, you don't get any connection with other characters, except maybe a little for the robot, but that's about it. Also the Infinite Warfare is a very interesting Universe, but ridiculously underused with crappy, flat missions...
Also, why almost all missions from COD have to be suicide missions?? I mean, wth, really, there is no proper planning??? WTF ALL main characters have to die in the end? Wth is this shit???
On a plus side, the graphics is superb, the AA is perfect, sound effects too. The worlds are very beautiful designed, zero complains here. They should give a bonus to the art director, but a kick in the arse to the overall game director, for a very flat game experience and ridiculously short campaign.
Thanks for that info.

Yesterday i was at the PC Games shop and almost bought it, thanks God i didn't.

Yeah just play this one out really slowly, and obviously in Veteran, really found them space missions difficult in Veteran itself, and now another even more difficult difficulty is added, don't dare to touch that, LOL.

Well, I fired it up tonight and I must admit, the sp is much better than I'd anticipated. What surprises me most is the dog fights are actually quite fun, and the controls for the Jackal feel just right. I was also surprised I can play it on max settings, save for AA, which I have at 1 notch down from max. Though I DO have a few nit picks, the campaign so far feels pretty good.

OK, now to my gripes.

1. I've never seen a game so littered with load screens. No they're not lengthy ones like in HL2, but they cram them in everywhere. Walk halfway into a small hospice outpost, loadscreen..., back to outpost. Upon completing one of the missions protag says "Mission ac... loadscreen, ...complished". I even got a couple halfway through cutscenes, and one in the middle of opening a peek-or-kick door. I don't know about you, but it's downright immersion breaking. They could have at least placed them less obtrusively.

2. Two or three times attempting to launch some of the side missions resulted in a black screen. I tried both exiting game, then rebooting. Eventually they worked properly. I also noticed you can get a different percentage of mission success rating without having played any in between checking the mission screen each time, which makes no sense.

3. How the heck do you access the armory on the Retribution? I keep getting a popup to check out my upgrades there, but I can't seem to find how to access it. I guess they mean the loadout screen upon taking missions, which isn't my idea of visiting an armory. It makes the Retribution feel small.

4. Several times I've come upon those small rooms you hack into for upgrades, only to find a worse weapon than the one I have (pistol vs assault rifle). I try to pick up any new weapon I see just to unlock it, but unless it's better, I always want to switch back to the one I had. However in these upgrade rooms, often times the one I switched from suddenly can't be found after switching.

5. Cutscenes have some of the best modeling I've seen, but they play a bit hitchy, while the game doesn't.

6. In game textures are a mix of fairly good, to pretty bad, even on max settings.

7. The campaign actually does feel pretty short. I'm already at the point where I've killed all but 5 of the 32 Most Wanted list in just one evening session of play. Now that would be acceptable were I only playing main missions, but as it now stands, there are no side missions showing, and just the Operation Black Flag main mission.

8. The campaign offers little reward for exploration. Not really any collectibles to speak of, and upgrades are same old scenario in finding them.

That said, again, these are more nit picks than major deal breakers. It's only the constant load screens and missions sometimes not launching I find extremely annoying and baffling. Now if these loadscreens with yellow horizontal bars are only happening if you have say 3GB VRAM or less like I do, I still find it strange. I'd rather wait for the game to pre-cache textures before starting a mission, than have those scattered all over the place.

The game definitely has it's fun moments though. Just the grenades alone are quite interesting, and offer great effects. I'd give it maybe a 7.5/10. If not for the loadscreens, missions not loading sometimes, and short length, I'd say maybe 8/10.

Oh, almost forgot. I didn't have the crash I was asking about in the Burn Water mission, but I also kept the default Jackal skin and weapons, as a couple people said they were able to avoid the bug that way. In fact I've used default loadout every time. Next play through I'll experiment with custom ones.

Finished campaign last night. Was mostly OK, but the ending was quite a let down, and I mean in gameplay more so than story.

I'm not really a fan of in-game purchases, but they're here for Modern Warfare Remastered for anyone who's interested.

The latest update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, which is included with some versions of Infinite Warfare, adds microtransactions to the game. Users can now pay for some new melee weapons (e.g. a shovel or hammer) and they can order supply drops.

Supply drops are purchasable with Call of Duty Points or Depot Credits. You can either use in-game currency for them or pay with actual money. The drops include cosmetic items, such as weapon camos and character skins.

Also in the update are six new maps and female fighters.

Activision has turned a 6Gb COD4MW into a 50Gb that crashes constantly, still has known issues that are not fixed I have manage to make it through to the Hardened level with over 80 crashes and numerous BSOD's in Windows 10 Pro with a GTX 1060 an SSD and 24Gb of ram. Save your money , it will go for about 30 USD's in about 6 months.

Good to hear. I'm not exactly sold on the need for it anyway. I just replayed MW a couple weeks ago, and totally maxed out at 1080p it still looks pretty good for a 10 year old game. Oh, and no crashes.

Hasn't crashed on me yet. Haven't played it a lot though. Hasn't Nvidia had driver problems lately ?

This one looks incredible compared to the old one. I was hesitant at first 2 because people are having issue, but wondering if it isn't just drivers. Mine plays fine SP and MP.
Let the cache populate also when it attempts. I wondered If I would be able to run Infinite Warfare maxed because my ram is only 8 gb's and Processor has to be choking it.
No problem there either so far, even in heavy fighting.

I'll just keep going and expect some hiccup's. Compared to BF4 I can live with a couple bug's here and there. Thanks for the heads up !
