Colorful announced that its flagship graphics card, the iGame GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Kudan, broke several 3DMark records. The company revealed that the GTX 1080 Ti ASIC driving each Kudan graphics card is binned in a "best of 100" lot (the best performing ASIC from 100 are picked out for the Kudan SKU, leaving the rest for other SKUs by the company). Colorful ran the card at an out of the box OC of 2050 MHz core, yielding 3DMark graphics scores of 30,328 points (graphics score) in Firestrike, 14,858 points (graphics score) in Firestrike Extreme, 7,406 points (graphics score) in Firestrike Ultra, and 10,445 points (graphics score) in Timespy.

This story will be updated later today with system specs and validation links (waiting on them from Colorful).

They went to all that trouble binning chips yet a Titan Xp will beat it easy.

I also don't like the idea of binning chips as it reduces the chances of people winning the silicon lottery with the normal cards.

How are any of these scores "3DMark records" ?

  • Fire Strike (1xGPU): 32346 by K|ngp|n
  • Fire Strike Extreme (1xGPU): 19361 by K|ngp|n
  • Fire Strike Ultra (1xGPU): 9892 by K|ngp|n
  • Time Spy (1xGPU): 14219 by K|ngp|n

This claim is not even close to a record.

Everything is a record if you keep creating your own categories.

This is probably a record score in terms of factory OC'd cards (that you consequently never touch again, makes total sense right)

If they claim to break any records on "stock" cards then it's already stupid.
If we are talking about OC then my FE scores are much better than what we see here, not to mention guys who benched 1080Ti on LN2.

With that claim i hope they mean record for factory oc cards. Cause else even my EVGA 1080 TI beats it and my EVGA card is among the cheapest cards out there and by that mean it shut not be among the bedst overclocking cards out there.
Besides that i have seen 1080 TI cards score around 32000 in GPU score on the better cards.

Here is how my card compares. Only in normal fire strike its a bit under (maybe because of my old cpu or as 3dmark is known for that scores differ from runs even at the same clocks).

Its a world record, for colorful cards?

I beat this on a stock GPU run on the 7900X build I did?
