The title could be better, it's true, but it serves to point out this particular fact: Blizzard is seemingly developing a new, first-person game. The video-game experiences that come from the studio are usually top-notch in their respective areas - be it MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, competitive FPS titles such as Overwatch, or RTS games such as Starcraft, just to name a few. The studios' quality is pervasive in any IP it touches, and the idea of a new video-game form the company should be enough to appease the soul of gamers everywhere.

Through a job listing on its site, Blizzard has made public that it's looking for "a talented gameplay engineer to help create vehicles and build vehicle handling features in a robust first-person engine for an unannounced project." whether or not this unannounced project will be placed on one of Blizzard's existing IP or not is still up for grabs, but whether it's an adaptation of one of Blizzard's IPs, or the start of something new, Blizzard knows gamers' eyes are eagerly on them. Follow the source links if you think this unannounced project is something you'd like (and have the skills) to work on.

I see that my dream of Grand Theft Diablo is coming true.
You're a nephelem in a city of demons, cruising and doing jobs for different demon gangs.

I liked it better when I didnt have to click on links just to go look at pictures on the main site.

Couldn't agree more!

Maybe W1zz wants more hits on the TPU main page....

I wish they'd make StarCraft game in style C&C Renegade was to Tiberian Sun. Stepping into first person view of a world we only know from 3rd person from high above. StarCraft Ghost was suppose to be that, but they scraped it :(

Who knows they've probably decided to pick up where they left off with that IP after finally figuring out what they want to do with it.

Lmao, just lmao

Titan 2 incoming :D

World of Tanks needs a strong competitor.

Yep, I'd be down for a Ghost revival. And back in the day there were also rumors (or perhaps just wishful thinking) of a Star Craft MMO, which I had always pictured being something similar to what Destiny has become (opposed to a WoW style MMO).

Why you ask? Blizzard games quality decreased so much over the years especially with OW which is a shot in the dark for them, this will probably be even worse than OW, so that's why "Lmao"

That is just your opinion. OW was a shot in the dark for them, yes, but it was a highly successful shot in the dark.

And you cant say this game is going to be even worse than OW when you dont have any details as to what this game is even going to be. Youre just speculating and hating to hate.

I'm just more than an average videogame player, and OW is a poor game by every aspect, that is ofc my opinion, no doubt in that. I'm speculating, yes, but it's because like with OW they're moving from what they do best, which is surely not FPS games, or Driving-alike games.

Please be a BATTLE ROYALE game from Blizzard, Please be a BATTLE ROYALE game from Blizzard, Please be a BATTLE ROYALE game from Blizzard... Or Warcraft 4 with first person driving... whatever

Let it go, he's right, Blizzard have lost quite a bit off their edge. No one knows the reason some blame activision but personally, I don't and attribute their decline to the complacency due to WoW if you look at everything they did pre-WoW and everything after there is a stark difference in quality of difference in their games and everything streamlined or WoW-fied. In addition it seems that they've molded themselves fashioned themselves into a Disney of the video game world and play things extremely safe so don't ever expect anything that may be original. Any new IP will will straight up something that already exists where others have already done the leg work. As PowerPC pointed out it's most definitely going to be a battle royale title but the only question is it going to be of the Star or War variety? If you are a fan of Blizzard ofc they can do no wrong and there is no point in trying to reason, for everyone else at this point they are as mediocre as one can get.

+1. To be honest, I really hate this new format. Was 1 million times better having the full article here instead of clicking on the silly link.

Aye, but they need their eyeballs so it's understandable to me.

I haven't played it, but I thought OW generally was regarded as a very well made game with lots of polish, like all of Blizzards games.

My criticism regards mostly structure and mechanics of the game, not the technical level, i'm sorry if i couldn't explain myself better.

Overwatch having quality issues is a new for me...

First person StarCraft would be sweet.

Would be awesome to play as James Raynor and his eagle bike ;)
