Corsair has diversified a lot from its origins as a memory module manufacturer, and the company can easily make up everything other than the processor, motherboard, and monitor in your gaming desktop. That list of exclusions is about to get smaller, as the company is looking to enter the gaming monitors market. The move came to light as an Indeed job listing by the company reveal that it's looking for product managers for monitors. The listing reveals that Corsair's foray into monitors is still at a nascent stage, and it still needs to figure out a strategy to approach this market. We give it at least a year before Corsair can have a product lineup. Knowing Corsair, it could adopt a bottom-down approach, with a high-end product launch first.

well develop develop, they just want to be yet another company that has something to offer in every section.
So they are just going to grab some exciting monitor, slap their brand on it and sell it for the same price.

well that is both good and bad.

If they get a good OEM, then its good. Because they will be able to integrate lighting (mark my words it will have RGB on the back) with other corsair products - which is also good. They all use panels from samsung or AU anyways so who cares about that part.

But if the OEM is bad, then its just overall going to suck due to bad QA and support.
 
Another company to use cheap AU Optronics panels with terrible QC, and still charge overprice?

I'd rather see some LG Nano IPS 120+ Hz panels... I guess we can't have Micro LED before 2020+ and OLED is crap for PC use.

PC Monitors use garbage panels compared to TV market. Sadly. HDR gaming on PC is a joke, both hardware and software-wise. PC Masterrace I guess...

I dont see Corsair doing this. They care too much about their products/brand.

Perfect example: Back when they changed their logo from what it is now to that "tramp stamp" logo, there was a huge backlash over it. Corsair did a 180 and went back to it's current logo.

Corsair is a brand and company that cares.

Normally, I would agree with this sentiment, but Corsair is a company that has my attention. I've owned many of their products over the years and have had a good experience with quality.

Heh, I don't see any differences between panel types, so I don't even care what panel a monitor uses.
 
I probably wouldn't tell a colour difference between an IPS and a VA, but either of those compared to a TN, that's night and day.
 
Their AIO units are pretty solid for what they are, can't really speak for their other products other than their SSD line. I've had one of their SSDs for a little over two years now, time will tell if it lasts as long as my Samsung SSD(still chugging along 5 years later). Got a box full of Corsair brackets and AIO coolers in my closet I haven't touched since going for a custom loop.
