EA Representative: Game Streaming Is the Future and Simply a Matter of "When"

I live 30km outside of Czech republic's capital, in a ~17k town, and I am doomed to wifi, because noone will spend millions laying fibre cables to redneck "suburbs" - EVER (and honestly, I wouldn't either). It is available only in certain areas where there are multiple 6+ floors houses.

So the Czechs have their own rednecks too? :D

I feel your pain on wifi. I have to use that myself, for the time being.

If its super cheap whit good content why not in city fast optic internet is no problem anymore.

Eh, no. Good enough Internet is nearly impossible to find in Latin America. Even in cities like Buenos Aires. And from what I see in this forum, most people here don't think their Internet connections are good enough either.

I get 100 / 20 now but god forbid it actually be "reliable" wind blows, road construction, drunk driver, wild animals typical tend to cause bad performance or loss of net access.

I know right. Nothing like a drunk driver wiping out a transformer or power pole in the middle of a competitive game. Happened to me just this week; -25 MMR.

Streaming is only going to exacerbate the problem.

I do have 150 Megabit downlink on broadband, that said, still, no thanks.
