TSMC to Build Intel 14nm Processors and Chipsets

The malware was on some of the production equipment, it wasn't being baked into chips they were producing.
Still bad tho.

I thought that guy was canned over sexual harassment?
Yes but look at the bottom section of the press release. Most of the bullet points were pessimistic, cautious, or uncertain.

10 yr delay? Him doing nothing and collecting paychecks got him fired. Investors are pissed that AMD is back and 10nm is broken.

Seems overall terrible, but hey at least Intel's chipset's will get a much needed die shrink finally.

Hard to believe intel is going to trust those secrets to TSMC.

Well, chipsets is more easy to believe, but Xeon CPUs.

They outsource ENTRY LEVEL chips. Meh.

This is good. Now Intel can make more 9th gen chips. These are going to sell like hotcakes.
