Battlefield V Launches Early For Origin Access Premier Subscribers, Pre-orders Get Shafted

OK. Are you seeing any CPU or GPU (or hdd) usage spikes when it happens?

I've found this to be the smoothest day 1 BF game to date and our systems aren't much different.

Nope, wasn't any of that. Changed to 1920x1080 resolution, still the same problem...
Turned of DX12 and it's mostly ok, although it still drops to around 15-20 fps at times, especially in the menus.
Seems like the beta was an alpha and this is is more like a beta release. Typical EA, shame for DICE, they didn't use to put out crap this bad.

I played a half hour this morning, at 4k was on about 50fps max settings. Dropped to 1440p, to get higher, ran very smooth. Vsync was on initially but gpu usage was low. Managed to turn off vsync, will see if it's even smoother.

What if you just signed up for a month and played the game and then canceled your subscription lol! I don't think you have to sign any contract that you will keep the subscription for a year correct?
Exactly! Myself I paid for a year, but mainly for the added BF3 and 4 and Crysis 3 on 2 account's so when my Grandkids come over I can do a little LAN gaming. It didn't really have anything to do with getting BFV early. Just figured for $20 more than getting the deluxe I could get most of the other BF games on a separate account also. I didn't have BF1 either, so now I do. Not sure how much I'll play it. Wasn't my cup of tea. Kind of like Hardline.
