So I recently upgraded my rigg, but went cheap on the GPU. I bought a Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Edition off of eBay and while it did work, something about it just wasn't right. It seemed to barely surpass my old RX 480 and while the 480 is a pretty good card for the money, I know the 1080 is supposed to blow it away. The seller had it in a mining rig and I suspected maybe it was some kind of modded bios. So I saved the original, downloaded this one

Now games are stuck at 15-16fps, memory is listed as 'unknown' in GPUz, and GPU memory is also locked at 405mhz. So I tried to flash the original back onto the card and somehow the save file corrupted. I read a few other threads where owners of the AMP! Edition, used the AMP! Extreme bios to unlock some extra horsepower as its basically the same card. I tried to do the same, but I have the exact same problems. Extremely low FPS, locked memory @405mhz, and memory listed as unknown. Im not a programmer, but I think my problem is that this card has a different memory manufacturer. The Bios versions I tried were listed for Micron and I think I might have a different kind. Edition and it runs off of a EVGA Supernova 750G+. If there is anyone out there that could help me find another Bios, or possible upload their version, I would be extremely grateful.
