While by no means a draw dropper at this point it seems SilverStone is looking to try something a bit different, teasing a prototype OLED equipped chassis at Computex 2019. Utilizing the ASUS SDK, it connects to an ASUS motherboard and displays pertinent system information such as CPU temperatures on the display. For now, it is only a prototype with no design set in stone with the company still looking into the best way to implement the feature going so far as to consider going with a 5.25" device as well. However, there is one sticking point, and that is the SDK while open in nature currently only works with ASUS motherboards. While the feature is a bit basic for now, the concept itself is still quite impressive and could prove to be an appealing feature if appropriately implemented. For now, all we know is that SilverStone is looking into it.

dont care much for the oled screen, but the case itself looks very nice imo, very calm and classy.
 
Cool idea - I like this more than RGB - Just curious how they link everything together though, Im guessing you need to plug it into a USB header somewhere
 
The mesh front and top, plus the fact that it seems to invert the components will make it great for airflow and cooling.. .consider me impressed and interested.
 
I'd like to see a non-OLED non-LED version
 
Looks like a terrific case, really. Now if they only offered the budget version without the OLED and RBG stuff that would be great.

My problem is that the display is vertical rather than horizontal. though maybe that can be changed with software..
 
I like how you need to tilt your head to read that info. Well thought out.
 
silver strip down the side is yukk, if it was all black, much better. Also that type mesh traps dust.

Its a prototype / proof of concept. Keep in mind it needs actual motherboard support to function and its coded using an SDK from ASUS. So considering its a prototype / proof of concept meh i can let that slide. There not sure if it will stay on that case or be implemented into something else or if they will change the shape etc. So for what it is its pretty interesting but likely still a ways off. If it ends up locked to ASUS motherboards it will likely just be a niche product anyway.
 
Quite like it but why not have the screen horizontal so you can read it easier, it's a noisey display from afar imho.
 
nice but why they put that oled display that way? they should rotate them
