The same setup and only one out of 7 CPUs was able to work at 5000+ (the same results on 3 mobos). All others hit a wall at 4800-4933. No idea if the new AGESA will help and I had no chance to test it yet.

I wonder how long they were looking for a CPU that can reach 6k.

RAM dude, RAM, not the CPU...
 
A couple observations:

The infinity fabric was at 1500, so 1:2 mode. Still pretty awesome.

I'm talking about RAM, not CPU clock. So far I was able to reach 5k mark on Samsung, Hynix and Micron on X570 but only on one out of 7 CPUs. All other have too weak IMC and can't pass 4800-4866.
Here is the same RAM as in the topic. Quick run without additional tweaking.

Yep... it’s actually a binning process for motherboards too. Not all can do high RAM as they too as not all equal.

I wish my combo could get above 4333... either the CPU or motherboard is holding me back.

I know this is just a race to hit the highest frequencies, but the latency must be shot at a 1:2 ratio.

How is your latency at 1:1 IF (3800/3733 at 14-14-14-30-115-1T)? I'm trying to experiment with these Patriot Vipers I got off Amazon (thanks /u/buildapcsales!) and I'm aiming for sub 70ns latency.
You should easily get 67ns or less.

I have the Viper Steel PVS416G440C9K (2x8GB). Currently my 3700X can hit the recommended DOCP 19-19-19-39-1T at 4400 MHz (87ns :wtf:), but I want my Infinity Fabric at 1:1, so I'm currently on 3800 @ 16-16-16-40-125-1T which comes out to 71ns and 55383MB/s copy.
 
Actually out of 4 cpus (one binned - 3 retail)

All could do 5000 on air quite easily (also depends on the memory).

One of those 4 did the 6G

Yeah I'll try using the DRAM Calculator, but currently I'm just changing it in the BIOS. I'm running 125 tRC. This is on a TUF B450M-PRO GAMING.

That might be why you're getting such bad latencies, try reducing it to something like 60-56 to start with. I'm at 48.

I think you might be confusing that with tRAS. My tRAS is currently at 40. (3800 @ 16-16-16-40-125-1T ) My tRC is at 125, but I think I can lower it both further. I'll test once I get home.

Nope, my tRAS is 36.
Your tRC is WAY too high for that RAM. Just try it and you'll see.
