Corsair rolled out the ST50, a "premium headset stand" (model: CA-9011221-NA). It is made of anodized aluminium with a rubberized anti-slip base and diamond-cut edges. The stand has a matte black finish with a silver metallic Corsair logo on the armature. The no-frills stand has no other other functionality that to hold your headset at least 4 inches in the air by its headband, and prevent wear and disfiguring of the earpiece cups over time. Available now, the Corsair ST50 headset is priced at USD $34.99.

Not $999? NOT PREMIUM ENOUGH.

Would've been cool if it was a USB dock or have some sort of BT capability to it.

but eh

"Premium Headset Stand" is part of the product name, and not an adjective from my end.

I'd rather this than the current trend of RGB headset stands with USB soundcards built in

there's stands with built in soundcards ? that's pretty neat (and actually premium)

Yeah, corsairs other model. Kinda annoying if you own their wireless headsets and want a stand, yet another sound card added to windows to screw with your sound settings.
(I'm constantly having to disable and re-set sound settings due to moving a USB cable or a driver update, and all of a sudden in game voice chat is broken, wrong mic used, etc)

I think its for laptops mainly

Isn't this what banana holders were invented for?

They should add an SKU with USB charger for their wireless headsets.

They always add a USB soundcard and put a one or two port hub coming out the base sideways, instead of in a useful spot (hidden at the back, etc)

they sell the damn headsets, why not design the bases for their own products?

I mean I paid like what? 20 bucks for the NZXT's Puck, I can see this one take off. Not my cup of tea though.

I bought the puck, and then i got a case with an aluminium front and glass side... feel silly

You had me at "diamond cut edges". Seriously.

Amazon has dozens of similar quality headphone stands with "zero other features" for the more reasonable price range of $6.99 - $8.99 depending on your tastes.

Personally, I feel that the best headphone stands are the ones that don't take up desk space - so either they are wall-mounted or under-desk. I don't have a monitor with headphone stands but don't most gamer monitors include a headphone stand too?

I think very few do. I know some do come with it, but it's not standard for "gamer" monitors.

Fair enough. I'm a heathen and I don't hang my headphones - my two-decade-old Sennheiser HD580's are still fine after never being hung up (they're sitting shamefully on their side, on the electric piano right now) and my current Sony MDR-1R headphones have swivel cups so that they rest flat.

Like I said, a heathen. I don't even have RGBLED!

Blasphemy! Consider yourself banned. Do not return until you change your ways.

It's cool, I realised my G303 Deadalus mouse is RGBLED. I choose colour R0,G0,B0 because that's the best colour.
