NVIDIA Teases Cyberpunk 2077 themed GeForce RTX Graphics Card

no computex this year, i read somewhere they cancel it, corona virus alert

Wait a min, Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing Sept. When this special gpu will release, after computex ? Then we r not getting Ampere this year.
 
With new consoles this year and game that is really gonna need it (ie: CP2077) you can bet it's based on Ampere.


NVIDIA Ampere [updated]
  • Release Date: probably H2 2020, maybe March 22nd at GTC 2020
  • Successor to "Turing" architecture
  • GeForce RTX 3000 Series
  • GA103 is used on GeForce RTX 3080, 60 SMs = 3840 CUDA cores, 320-bit memory, 10 or 20 GB GDDR6
  • GA104 is used on GeForce RTX 3070, 40 SMs = 3072 CUDA cores, 256-bit memory, 8 or 16 GB GDDR6
  • Produced on 7 nm Samsung process
  • Half the power consumption
  • Up to 18 TFLOPs of FP64 compute performance
  • Twice the performance (possibly for raytracing workloads)
  • Tesla server cards are going into Indiana University Big Red 200 supercomputer

Kinda looks like a TUF but then in a good way.

Still a completely forgettable product, but OK.

I thought of this after i posted on the Ampere timeline. It'll be a good way to get rid of old stock.

It wasn't cancelled, just postponed to May.

MWC (Mobile World Congress) was cancelled.
