Polish gaming powerhouse CD Projekt confirmed that it has no plans of sitting idle after finishing work on its magnum opus and the year's most anticipated game, "Cyberpunk 2077." In an interview with journalists, CD Projekt president Adam Kiciński announced that the company will begin work on the next chapter in "The Witcher" franchise. Kiciński wouldn't take names or call the game "The Witcher 4," but simply that the game will be set in the fictional universe by Andrzej Sapkowski. Kiciński stated that a small team within CDPR will be tasked with preparatory work on this game, while larger teams will focus on DLCs and content additions for "Cyberpunk 2077" over an extended period of time.

This time I wanna play as a buxom sorceress who has a phallus. A futa mage.

In other news, water is wet

This time I wanna play as a buxom sorceress who has a phallus. A futa mage.

...dafuq :D

Skyrim has all you need already... look it up

I tried the original Witcher back in the day and couldnt get into it at all. :-\

Time to enroll in witcher school and prepare for the path. Roll your own witcher, post Geralt era, around 200 years.

As someone who played through both W1 and W2 recently, I'd say you’re kinda missing out.

I'll compare thrm more in the what are you playing thread when I finish W3.

The controls from the first just seemed so wonky to me I couldnt do it for some reason.

This time you play as Dandelion!

That they were. But it was well worth the frustration eventually, for me.

Maybe I'll have to give it another go. Picked it up on a steam sale a year or two ago and couldn't get into it because of the wonky controls.

It'll be easy for them to build on the Witcher so maybe it won't take ten years to complete.

There’s three sword styles. Strong, Fast, Group. Select each style for different enemy types.
There’s parry and dodge I think but you don’t need it tbh, if you time your strikes right. Cause there’s cumulative strike in W1 and W2. When you strike for first time there's a red thunder prompt. If you strike again at that time you do a quick followup with more damage.
I think I was almost always rooted to a same spot as I did one follow up after another, unless big boss fights ofc.

My biggest frustration was traversal tbh. It was tediously slow until I discovered the trick. You draw your silver sword, select fast style and just go. Avoiding random low level (and time consuming) monster encounters like the fast af boi you are.

There’s a mods list stickied on r/witcher sub by a moderator for the must-have mods. I didn’t touch game-mexhanic changing mods but I did use some texture, quest-bug patching and QoL improving mods.

I see you are a man of culture as well. But seriously, I can totally see Phillipa going with this, would be in her character.

I didnt even make it out of the castle when it became under siege. So what the first 5-10min? lol. Just couldnt

That would be ideal, perhaps with a few detail additions from RDR2. But being an NVidia title, green team would never let it come out until RTX is fully supported.

Geralt is one of the last witchers, they would be completely extinct 200 years later.

Or are they? Season of Storms suggests otherwise.

Hmm, right inline with Season 2 of the show.

Her dress in the games don’t do her justice. Too much frilly.

I wouldn’t mind Sabrina Glevisig tbh. The mole on her face makes her so sexy.

Wish other sorceresses wore pant and shirt like Triss and Yenn tbh. But otoh vegelbud party dress Triss is hot af too.

Wouldn’t mind that baroness La Valette too tbh. That reminds me would've loved to see Shani in later games as well. Thaler became younger in W3 and almost not ploughing ugly. Princess adda too.

Gosh I miss those guys. Even Foltest too.

I feel like I'm really gonna be sad when I finish Witcher 3 :(

I had mild depression lol. Playing TW3 is not the same as playing the whole series. Those missed out not doing the trilogy in a row.

3 already takes place beyond the scope of the books. The universe is open ended enough for some clever writers to come up with ways to expand the series. It could follow Ciri, it could follow one of the lesser known guilds, there could be a Witcher profession rebirth...
