BSOD - Driver are outdated?

Hello everyone.

I am pretty curious about a driver date/version, seems like way outdated, that is why i would like to know if anyone with a 970 Evo plus could confirm my doubts.

I'm using the Samsung 3.3 driver for my 970 EVO Plus. It's on Samsung's website.

That's the standard drivers for any mounted volumes.

The one to look for is under Storage controllers.

^That's where you want to use the Samsung driver @bobbybluz mentioned. I didn't notice a huge difference when I tried.

Those are the default drivers included with Windows in the Driver Store.

Let me go straight to the point about the Driver outdated question.

Today for the first time i got a BSOD.

Because the Driver version is the same shown in the BSOD report i thought that was the problem

What were you doing before the one of three crashes happened?
Looks too me as a unstable memory overclock. Did you do a clean install of Windows with the memory overclocked? That has always bit me in the ass if the memory clock isn't stable or lead to corrupt installation media.

It was first a random reboot and then BSOD , since i built the PC it has always worked without issues, the crash happened just when i installed Need for speed started it and after a few minutes got a random reboot then i relaunched the game and it was working till i decided to close the game because i wanted to play something else but when i hit quit the game didn't close so i tried right click on the game to close it and got the BSOD.

Uninstall the game and see if it crashes again. Also, install the latest Samsung driver for your NVMe.

The latest Samsung Drivers were installed right after i built the PC.

If i do a clean install of Windows is always with at stock settings also memory is running at it's rated speed.

Something that i noticed and at the same time it is funny is that I've played FIFA/ DOOM/ TEKKEN and some others Games and my Build never used more than 285W except when playing the last COD that it goes up to 350W but when playing Need for speed Payback the Wattage Meter was showing up to 560W :eek:
