GECUBE Releases GEMINI 3 Radeon HD2600XT X2 Video Card

GECUBE is now shipping the world's first dual-GPU Radeon HD2600XT X2 DirectX 10 graphics card with up to 1GB of on-board memory and four DVI ports. The latest GEMINI 3 adopts two RV630XT (65nm) GPUs in CrossFire mode under one hood and features 512MB or 1GB of 128-bit GDDR2 memory. The point of these cards are that it has quad DVI so you can connect 4 monitors (or huge LCD tvs). These arent made for gamers.

As long as the 1GB version doesn't use slower RAM, it's at a good price.... the 512MB version is a little on the expensive side.....

thats quite silly really... if a dual 2900xt gpu card was available, nativly watercooled it would be fine, and tbh, the 2900 does not run that hot, especially with 2d modes, it idles lower than the 8800's

Why not? I only have a single PCI-E x16 and If I'd like to have crossfire, this would be the only option. Now if it was cheaper and A LOT faster I might actually buy it, but seeing as it just barely beats my single x1900xt in 3dmark06, it's quite bad I actually beat it in 3dmark05: 11401 and that card scores 9234. 3dmark06: 5797 for me and 6203 for GECUBE.

Single card ftw! If it's not cheaper or faster than a single card the islittle point other than a cool factor, thus ghost101 Ihave to kinda agree too

Wow that's 220€ and cheapest in Finland is 273€=184£ :/ Is that a special offer or some price cut coming that's not here yet? But as I said on the earlier post (Tweaktown review) it hardly beats even my GPU, so against 8800GTS, it has no chance. Granted that test had a weaker prosessor than mine, but still it doesn't beat mine much.

I'm still not convinced with these DX10 cards. I'll sit on the fence for a real 2nd gen DX10 part, they shouldnt suck half as bad by then.

I'd say the same, I have no real need to upgrade, probably wait until the start of the 2nd/3rd Q of 2008 and see what's on offer be it 2nd/3rd gen DX10 cards rather than these early design attempts.
