NVIDIA today released the GeForce 466.77 WHQL software. The drivers come with support for the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card, which we reviewed here. Also added is support for the DLSS feature in "No Man's Sky," with its latest patch. The drivers also provide optimization for "Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts 2," "Chivalry 2," "The Persistence," and NVIDIA Reflex support for "War Thunder" and "Escape from Tarkov."

A handful bugs were also fixed. For starters, a BSOD error with "DPC Watchdog Violation error" occurring on NVIDIA "Kepler" and "Turing" GPUs, has been fixed. System freezing when launching a VR game on machines connected to 4K UHD TVs, has been fixed. 4K @ 120Hz display mode not being available on RTX 20-series, GTX 16-series, and GTX 10-series; has been fixed. Grab the driver from the link below.

The real diference between last version is RTX 3070 Ti support, The Persistance support (game from may 2020) and the first two bugs described, all other changes were introduced a week ago.

I'd love to know why so many people often have some deal breaking issues with NVIDIA drivers. The last time I had problems was with Windows XP prior to any service packs over 15 years ago. Granted I never OC and my OS is usually in a pristine condition (no shady software, no apps to "speed up", etc). but it's still quite surprising.
I've had no problems with NVidia stuff, mainly because I wait a week or two to update to the latest one. That way I can avoid any problems if there are any (such as with 466.63).
Exception with 466.77, though. 466.47 was being weird for me and caused Battlefield 4 to crash a lot. 466.77 has removed this.

Windows, though, is another story. It just decided to give up 2 days ago and no amount of rebuilding of anything could fix it. My Windows doesn't get injured and has to take a trip to the hospital, it drops dead for no reason and I have to reinstall.

Did they fix the 3840x2160p screen on 4K TVs being squeezed-in from the sides? I had to rollback to 466.27 to fix that issue.

Underscanning?

I just wish they'd fix the texture flickering in WoW.

Pointless, skipping. Waiting for 47x release which apparently has a fix for the SteamVR bug.

WoW and Youtube issues have been in there for how long, half a year? More?

GeForce Hotfix display driver version 466.79 is based on NVIDIA's latest Game Ready Driver 466.77.

The hotfix addresses the following issue:

  • Display may flicker or lose signal when launching a game on an adaptive-sync VRR monitor in multi-monitor configuration when sharing the same display mode [3314055]

EVGA elite would've given you better odds. They give elite members a head start.
