"He didn't die, he's still running in the background". Well played Youtube comment section.

RIP John. :( This video is hilarious, check it out.

Brilliant, just wish I could remove it like him, but UK, a spud gun wouldn't do it.
Bit of a character , odd way to go.

Well, the government had committed him a suicide, as we used to say back in post-soviet part of Europe.
Thou shalt not steal money which is to be stolen by the government or bloody aftermath awaits you. You can get away with murder, rape or torture fairly easily but screwing with taxes will get you every time. When I moved out of the "old country" I owed around the equivalent of 15 euro cents in taxes due to my honest mistake. When I visited my mother five years later it turned out that some government moron wasted taxpayer money on sending me reminder letters every month just so I know that with interest I owed five times as much. Which was still less than the cost of sending a single one of those letters.

Never fight with greed unless you are more ruthless and have the means. Government is full of ruthless morons with a lot of means.

I owe the BC government $100 dollars because they were too stupid to realize they sent me a cheque to an Alberta address when I moved to AB. I was a tax payer in BC and they were to give me a tax rebate. But decided I owe them money instead and demanded I hand them that $100 back.

That was 20 years ago. lol

How do people think they can get away with not reporting millions of dollars in profit and not pay taxes on it and not end up in prison?

it's like a conspiracy theory mental health issue of sorts. there are lots of "tax rebels" in the USA that literally think they shouldn't have to "opt into the system" basically. in the most basic of terms, they don't think they owe taxes on anything, for anything. therefore they simply don't pay them. eventually, they all get caught of course. one of my uncles who is also quite well off financially, not like McAffe, but you know, wealthy enough to build his own house in multiple states have plenty of material things that cost money.....he found himself up the creek without a paddle when he decided to not pay taxes for several years and guess what, the IRS will want all of it, plus the late penalties/interest. these are people that drive on public roads but think only others should pay taxes to maintain them. no one is special like that, we all gotta pay the system whether we like it or not. McAfee seems like he is cut from the same cloth to a T. As the judge literally described him in that recent hearing bearing the bad news he is to be extradited, "He is a tax rebel, nothing else. A millionaire who doesn't want to pay taxes" and I tend to agree with that statement.

I suggest refraining from spreading conspiracy theories until we know all the details.

Even then some folks will probably still claim he was "Epstein'd".
Party pooper :(
Talking after knowing (some) facts, is so passé...

Don't worry, they'll get you at your next parking ticket. It's been nice knowing ya :P

Background: individual has dirt on gvt or vips or is politically dangerous to certain groups

Hasty method (H)
1. assassinate
2. risk of collateral damage, unmanaged narrative, leaks and repercussion

Political method (P)
1. character assassinate
2. wait until all assets and resources are „under control“
3. assassinate
4. no one cares
5. send in the clean up team. Manage the narrative

You can apply this framework to international conflicts, trouble at work, or friend groups. As soon as you see P1 occurring, be observant for P2, in which case you know P3 P4 and P5 will shortly follow.

The government doesn't mess around when it comes to taxes. My last girlfriend's sister and brother in law didn't pay taxes into Social Security for years on all of his employees. When they caught up with him years later the amount he didn't pay and the fines were several hundred thousand dollars. He couldn't pay it so they cleaned out their bank accounts. The only thing they didn't take was their house but they slapped a lien on it and if he ever tries to sell it they will take that money too. I don't have any idea how he avoided prison. I never asked.

It's just not worth it to try to evade taxes.

You can also apply this framework to prove basically anything, because you're not basing anything on facts. Just personal feelings/convictions.

I won't miss him. He was CRAP just like his software!

At least in the US, I've been told that if you don't pay taxes you don't do jail time - generally. Usually It's just heavy liens placed on your stuff until you pay things back.

My younger brother knows more because of some shady business guy that wasn't reporting and paying taxes for house properties he was building. My brother and his wife had purchased a house from him and had a lot of issues. The guy filed bankruptcy, tried to liquidate his company and start a new one and some other crazy shit. So he spent time looking into the lawsuits against the guy and reading up on why he wasn't in jail because of all the unpaid taxes

This dude had hookers shit into his mouth. I think he got a virus.

Heck, that could easily be the sum of McAfees life.

RIP
Damn. Can't believe they murdered McAfee.
Someone told me he got a tattoo a few days earlier saying he didn't kill himself.
More like a year earlier, but yeah.

It is unaccaptable for any individual to die in a prison. governments assume responsibility of the individual and therefore they are as well responsible for the health of those prisoners.
Govts. and responsibility in one sentence. Do you see where you go wrong there?

Heck, that could easily be the sum of McAfees life.

Seems you knew the guy quite well?

Hi,
Never seen a mussel so low in the arm before I'm guessing it was a little mussel lol
