Further Steam Deck Pre-Orders to be Available Only From Q2 2022

Yeah, same.. Except I live in one of the best countries in the world and yet can't pre-order despite the fact that anyone outside my country for hundres of miles is able to.
Sometimes I really wish we were part of the EU :/

Wasnt (still not) sure I wanted it, but knew it would be hell to get so figured Id order and make up my mind later.

New models come out in that time, more demanding games come out, the world changes etc. The possibility of waiting until 2023 takes ridiculous to a whole new level. If I was in the market for one of these, I certainly wouldn't bother.

I agree, by the time it's out they're going to be better options. Probably more expensive but better hardware.

Like gen 2 Aya Neo with similar specs but 8 CPU cores , hyper threading and configurable tdp.

The lucky was that you didn't get locked out. Seems like most people who say they got locked out say, "I was locked out after trying to get in at 1 PM EST" while the people who got in all say, "I got my confirmation at 10 AM PST." Weird, huh? Valve, put some servers on the East Coast.
