Ok. 35w for a 12600 and 12900k it is. Perhaps Intel should have locked those to 35w why even bother with 125 and up.
Because not everyone cares about efficiency? I for sure don't. If people cared as much as they pretend to then intel would have it locked at 35w and they would have the most efficient cpu on planet earth on stock

I will definitely try to bin a few for a better IMC, BUT I'll return them if they are worse than my current 12900k

There's going to be peeps with more money than brains that go out and purchase this cpu for a gaming build.
Hi,
With 24 threads is pretty close to a hedt work station and way better at gaming so win-win seeing hedt games a lot more poorly than any z chip with a real cache oc.

Smarter people are , on average, richer than stupid people. So no, there will be smart people with lots of disposable income that can buy them because they can afford to, thanks to their well paying job.

Shame higher earnings means more arrogant though.

It's a moronic purchase for a gaming build. <--- see that ... that's how that works.

This cpu uses less power, creates less heat not to mention it's a lot cheaper.

It doesn't use more power in gaming, so it doesn't create more heat. Also, it's slower. If the price is irrelevant cause you have the money, then it's a no brainer I think
