CORSAIR, a world leader in enthusiast components for gamers, creators, and PC builders, today announced the newest addition to its growing lineup of gaming chairs. Debuting the new RELAXED Series, the CORSAIR TC100 RELAXED offers wider seating and ergonomic contact points for the support you need to sit in comfort for hours, available in either soft fabric or plush leatherette exterior with a stylish racing-inspired design.

The TC100 RELAXED's wide bolstering provides a roomy seat with a comfortable width of 375 mm and full-body support whether you lean forward in the heat of battle or recline after the victory. Regardless of your choice between fabric and leatherette exteriors, a detachable high-density foam lumbar pillow and memory foam neck pillow are included to help you maintain a healthy posture while gaming.

Adjustability is a key component of the TC100 RELAXED, starting with its steel-construction class 4 gas lift providing 100 mm of seat height range. When you want to lounge, the reclining seat back features a range of 90-150° to put you in your comfort zone. Lastly, the TC100 RELAXED's armrests are four-way adjustable - up or down and side to side - so you can find the ideal position for your arms.

With a quick and easy assembly process that has you seated in minutes, the TC100 RELAXED is a great choice for gamers looking for a roomier seat that still delivers on style.

Looks nice, especially without the obligatory circus light-em-up pukefest, however, I would strongly suggest that anyone buying this immediately ditch those spoked wheels for solid/cast ones, because the spoked ones WILL fail very quickly and cause cuts & indentations in your flooring...

Been there, done that, neva, eva again :D

Not quite sure if its because its a 3D render but it looks as comfortable as a bucket seat in a race car.

Relaxed, what's relaxed about this?!.

Is there a hyper version and a slightly giddy version?!.

I got one of these stupid chairs for the kids to use on their computer (not this brand name one, but one that looks just like it). For anyone that's not a full grown adult, the chair - according to my kids - is comfortable. However, after using it for about an hour one day it sucked. The cushion on it isn't enough and eventually feels like I'm sitting on hard plastic. The arms become uncomfortable, they're too short and sit too far forward to help make up for the lack of length, plus they're not padded. Also that stupid tiny headrest pillow sucks, so I have to take it off and without it the headrest sucks, it's a lose/lose situation for me.

I wouldn't recommend this chair for any normal person. If you're a kid and you don't weigh as much as a full grown adult, then I guess they're okay chairs.

Thats kinda the thing, if you are fit and don't have any pre-existing conditions going on any chair would probably be fine, but that dosn't make these good chairs. People buy these things because they think they look cool, not because they are comfortable or ergonomically good (or good in any other aspect really) chairs. I fit the demographic of the gaming chair market but I bought a Herman-Miller like 8-10 years ago not because I need an ergonomic chair but because I'm not behind the wheel of a 911, and (in my opinion gaming chairs) look stupid because nothing about their design serves any function. The idea of a gaming chair is a idiotic marketing ploy which is why every company associated with PC gaming is making and selling the same basic garbage.

Sure, the back problems come when you're 30+ anyway, kids are fine :D

Who actually uses gaming chairs?

Based on what I see online (Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, Insta, whatever), it's mostly people under 35 who sit in front of a computer monitor for an extended period of time.

Yes, gamers obviously but they're just a subset of the total marketable audience, just like basketball shoes are worn by more people than actual basketball players.

The "gaming chair" moniker is part lifestyle marketing. You know, buy this chair and you will be some cool gamer bro/chick.

As touched on above, once you pass thirty the value of a real task chair (especially one with adjustable lumbar support control) will become steadily more apparent.

Gaming chairs are mostly marketed to the trend-focused 22-34 year old target audience who are more heavily swayed by style over function.

Yuck, office chair all the way I don't want any problems. Although, school chairs do no favors early on.
