As we leave the month of April behind us and move into May, we kick off the new month with a AAA horror first person shooter from Bethesda. The first week of May also brings a AAA 4X title, giant turtles, a Halo like game that adds an RTS element, multiple adventure titles and a game that's all about running away from conscription in the Russian army. Not a bad start to the month of May, if we may say so.

Redfall / This month's AAA title / Tuesday 2 May
The town of Redfall is under siege by a legion of vampires who have cut the island off from the outside world. Trapped with a handful of survivors, slay alone or squad up in open-world FPS action.

World Turtles / Monday 1 May
The World Turtle carries entire civilizations on its back through outer space, and the gentle Meeps are the only ones on a quest to save it. Cooperation, rather than conquest will save the day, so prepare to harvest, build, research, and explore the void in this wholesome turtleback builder.

The Witch of Fern Island / Tuesday 2 May
Welcome to Fern Island! As Abrill, become immersed in the island's culture, uncover its deepest secrets, and master magical trades. Overcome the challenges of the island to demonstrate your mastery of magic and become the most well known witch around!

Age of Wonders 4 / This week's 4X AAA title / Wednesday 3 May
Rule a fantasy realm of your own design! Explore new magical realms in Age of Wonders' signature blend of 4X strategy and turn-based tactical combat. Control a faction that grows and changes as you expand your empire with each turn!

Silica / Wednesday 3 May
Silica is a crossover of FPS and RTS where up to 3 factions battle for control over the planet of Baltarus. Lead from above as commander, or experience the action first-hand, either alone, or with friends. Join one of two human armies, or hunt them down as the territorial aliens.

KAKU: Ancient Seal / Thursday 4 May
KAKU: Ancient Seal puts players in the role of Kaku who's tasked with going on a journey across a sprawling continent to restore balance to the land. Accompanied by your pet pig, you'll have to brave the four elemental regions and conquer their lords if you're to fulfill your destiny.

Escape From Russia: Mobilization / Friday 5 May
Originally Russian runner, in which you have to find yourself in the shoes of a poor piglet, running away from the military commissar with an agenda. Don't let the military commissar catch up with you, otherwise you will have to sign the agenda or go to jail, however, you can always agree.

World Turtles....................waiting for flat earthers comments.......... ;)

Lol, escape from Russia: mobilization. I wunder what have inspireret that game

Well maybe all the people fleeing russia after they began mobilization for the ukraine war. So I guess you can thank Mr. PUTIN for this game...

I could be wrong off cause, but the name, the inspiration and what have happened in Russia for real. Undoubtedly makes me think that's the reason for this game in particular.

As a big Arkane fan, I really wish Redfall would not flop. But I have a very strong feeling it won't be much of a hit. Will probably buy it on the first sale, if it's at least a little good. For now, I just bought Jedi fallen order. Not a big SW fan, but after seeing screenshots of the 2nd game, I felt like playing some of that. So I'll start with the 1st one and maybe buy the 2nd one if the technical issues get fixed and once it is a little discounted

The witch game looks kinda nice.

And I chuckled at Escape from Russia: Mobilization. But maybe the protagonist should be a different animal? A yardbird comes to mind

"Silica" looks interesting. It's from the developer of ARMA & DayZ, so it could be something. After bug fixing. :D
"Redfall", idk. Looks a little too casual to me. Keeping an eye on it.

Game title lacks a bit of puch. I would have called it "Escape from RuZZia: Orc's on the Run".
Reminds me of "RUSLICSTAN INVADES". It's nice to see some DEV's out there use their creativity to battle mass insanity with comedy.

The world IS flat, until you look at it from space, but seriously the world could be a flat terrarium and we would never know, none of us has been to space.

Dude, during a lunar eclipse the shadow cast on the moon is always curved, earth has to be shaped like a sphere for that to happen

I am not a flat Earther but I did seriously consider it at one point after having someone I know talk about it seriously.

If the Earth is flat then all of space is just a hologram, we live in a large terrarium.

We can't actually get to space because of a physical separation between our environment and that of the environment outside our box.

Our 'satellites' are weather balloons. All satellite dishes on houses from East to West coast whether American or Canadian ALL aim to the same location just above the horizon, if the satellites were in space wouldn't your satellite dish aim upward? None of them aim towards space but a large secret tower about 22'000 feet tall.

The Russians were only able to drill to a depth of 12km, does the terrarium have a bottom?

There are no instruments in an aircraft to allow for curvature of the Earth which is about 8" per mile so if an airplane doesn't have to allow for curvature is it flying over a flat surface?

My cousin was in the military and has flown high enough to see the curvature of the Earth so yes, I am reasonably sure we live on an almost spherical planet.

Not to mention the Moon is spherical. The fact that flat earthers dont acknowledge this astounds me. You can literally see other planets that are spherical, but Earth is the only exception. Give me a break.
