Your PC ATM

Did a rearrange on the fans. Put the 3 noctua fans off the side rad on the front, and split the 4x lian li linked into 3 and 1 and put the 3 where the side rad was and one on the back. Btw it does not look no where near as bright as it does in the pics.

Ya on the brightness...I always have trouble getting the picture to capture how mine look in front of me...may have to get the Canon Rebel T3 out and brush up on taking pictures with it . You did about as good as you could .

It looks good to the eye, phone cams always make colors look too bright and garish.

Nice, i used a byski on my old gtx1080 with no problems. Look at how lovely and slim GPU's are with a water block instead of the monstrous and worse performing air cooler.

What are temps like compared to the air cooler?

Bout 15°c give or take fan speed on gpu heasink. Rad is 280mm with two 140's in pull, fans on silent mode.

GPU is a hell of a lot quieter now. Just removed 3 fans from it

That is a very excellent lighting effect with the UV and florescent fluid. Very well done!

You are a moderator, you are supposed to be a good exsample.

But here you show us naked hardware on the first image. You could at least have sencored it:p

Joke a side, look pretty dam good. I aprove it:peace:

Yeah, I actually forgot to take a photo of the block + pcb complete by itself. I must have gotten too excited to install it.

I took one of the naked pcb with the memory pads installed (like lacy lingerie) if your keen, but that's about it : (

Btw your machine is a beast!

After looking at Outbacks 4080.. I think I might buy one..

Weren't you going to buy one? Or are you talking about a block for your Ti?

This is the first Mid tower I've had to work in, and I must say things are a lot tighter to work around. This is where hardline comes in handy as you can do tight bends.

I've been eyeballing the Thermaltake 500 for a midish tower but it's actually quite big compared to this corsair 460x. Its another 200mm higher and another 200mm wider. Starting to dominate the desk. Trying to get away from those type of cases. Problem is, I've got the tower 900 & 100 so it would be nice to have mumma bear, puppa bear and baby bear :)

I would also like the tower 500 because I could essentially make a much nicer looking loop with it not looking so cramped.

Anyone else feels some type of way when they see missing chokes/mosfets on a 1000+$ product? Why are they penny pinching?

Yeah, noticed that. Reserved for 4090?

Gotta differentiate the models somehow. The 4080/90 AMP Extreme has the fully populated pcb.

I was going to buy one but I totally wussed out and got the Ti instead. I have it in my cart just gotta pull the trigger :D

But right now it is almost 250 cheaper than the TUF..
Really? Your 4070ti is only a stone throw away from a 4080, performance-wise.
There you go again talking perfect sense

I think he's being sarcastic about the whole rig, or so I'm presuming.
No its really in my cart, but maybe I will let it sit for a day or so.. ugh..

4090 or bust at this point bruh join the club.....:toast:

Really? I would pass on the 4080 and wait for 50xx, that would be a much more compelling upgrade.

This is why I bought the 4080 over the 4090 because I'm gona save that extra $1k AUD and slap it towards next gen ;)

I was thinking about the 4070Ti too, but it didn't seem to be a big enough upgrade over the 6800XT I had at the time.

It roasts my 3070Ti in every single possible way :D
If I wasn't basically offpriced by anything above a 4060Ti, I'd be really considering both the 4070Ti or the 7900XT to replace my 3070.
Need? No. Want? Yes, if only to satiate my tech hunger.

I play at 4K/60 most of the time with no upscaling. CP77 for sure I have to turn it on.. whatever still looks good :)

My screen is 50 inches and 8 feet from me, so far so good

Edit:

I would take a pic, but that would have to wait until I clean up this weekend.. I am a slob.

If you're going to do the upgrade, spend a bit more and get a 4080ti. Do like I do, keep the older card as a spare.

The performance a 4080ti would give you "should" be enough for you to play at 4k native, if you turn a few settings down in CP2077.

Another thought, we're close enough to the RTX 5000 series card release schedule, you might want to wait for a 5070ti. Rumor has it that the 5000 series is going to be a solid step up from 4000. Normally I don't do the rumor-mill thing, but this one seems creditable as NVidia is going to leverage both an advantage in the micro-architecture and TSMC's new hotness substrate. RTX 5000 seems geared to be something special.

A 5070/5070ti/5080 is my target for upgrade next.

I wish a 4080ti existed might not have had to go 4090.
