Newegg Sold Out Most NVIDIA RTX 50 Series GPUs in Just 5 Minutes, Entire Stock Cleared in 20 Minutes

The crazy thing is, the fanbois are still blindly worshipping Ngreedia, even after Dear Leader Jensen lied at CES with the “5070 beats the 4090”, this paper launch or my favorite “we are blocking the miners so you can get your gpus” meanwhile they were indeed selling directly to miners by truckloads..lol

its crazy such loyalty after all this abuse.
Not even the killing of EVGA could change that. Then notice how silent their fans are on this thread.

It lasted 5 minutes? What lies

I get the impression to show full pallets of cookie which were eaten up by someone else faster. So you are forced to be faster to grab a cookie, right?

Look this pallet was the hole delivery for the hole planet. Goods gone - Topic over.

Not the first time I post this below a "graphic card is not available" topic.

I'm green - I'm rare - you should have to wait 15 years to get one after an order. So please be patient. Color nvidia green.
(Some filtered "quality - unbiased" media claimed that maybe someone had to wait 15 years for a car delivery after an order)

See priced too low lol

Key Launch Highlights:

I. Specifics, numbers! How many 5090s were sold, how many 5080s were sold. How many units were available? People are not interested in the number of word searches or refreshes of website, but how many (in thousands, numbers!) were sold! :D

II. Since the RTX 4090 has not been on production several months, people who need the most efficient cards with a lot of memory have no choice.
Production of the RTX 4090, 4080 ended a few months ago, the availability and prices of even the 4080S have worsened.
In the case of phones for example - we often have the iPhone 15 Pro Max on sale at the same time and a new series is coming out.
At the same time, we still have the Samsung Ultra 24 and 25 Ultra or the iPhone 15 and 16. Both from the manufacturer and in electronics stores or here PC.

III. The difference is that the requirements of games growing all the time (UE5, RT, PT). You can wait before buying which is rational for example, until the release of gpus from other price ranges, AMD.
However, if AMD says that it will not produce/fight for the fastest gpu in the near future, both Nvidia and the buyers know that they are faced with a situation - we have no competition vs. I want the fastest card, I theoretically have one choice.
After the premiere of the RTX 5080 and how poorly it is doing, how small the increase is, it is strange that AMD gave up because it seems that catching up with the RTX 5080 would be much easier than before. RTX 3080 lose to RTX 4080 ~ 33%, RTX 4080S to 5080 just 9%.
RX 7900 XTX 8% to RTX 5080. In fact, it seems very easy, trivial, an improved RX 7900 XTX, overclocked by AMD would do that. But the key issue is improving performance using RT by Radeons.

Baffling all these stores are still only doing real time sales with extremely short order windows, no pre ordering system, live only is a scalper paradise.

Mean while here in Australia.....

The UK stores do pre-order systems, but the current ETAs span from end of Feb through to May for some models!

Which ones? OCUK used to do it, but stopped after the AIBs refused to supply at committed price.

Nothing wrong with a few months wait, its far superior to waiting for a unannounced 30 second window to order.

Scan have pre-orders up for 5080s atm, they only put up pre-orders for stock they have an ETA for, so I guess that means very few 5090s coming for probably months!

Edit: oh some 5090s are up for pre-order, my page can't have loaded properly the first time. End of April seems to be the earliest ETA though!

Ok I see on scan, lol at the 5090 prices, you can pre order if you buying an entire PC, but not a standalone GPU. Reminds me of when PS5 was rare, some retailers forced you to buy a combination of items to get a PS5, so they could shift stuff they couldnt sell.
But I do see pre order for 5080s so thats something, really though there should be unlimited pre orders for every SKU, thats how you clear the demand. Then the retailer also knows exactly how many they need to order as well, everyone wins.
Hiding order buttons makes human nature want it more, so increases demand.
Looks like AIBs prioritising the premium SKUs.

I hope you are searching correctly in the places you are checking online. Because this morning I did a search on a site that summarizes offers from different stores and when I selected the option "video card with Intel GPU", it showed me a list of only "A" series video cards. When I did a more precise internal search in the filter with B580 and B570 written, it showed me a decent number of offers...Available. With prices which is normal for my country.

The same search term worked for the 5080.
"5080" on scan lists a bunch of 5080 with pre order available.
"5090" lists a bunch of 5090 with notify me available, but then clicking on more will list a bunch of pre build PCs that include a 5090 available for pre order, about £4000-5000 each.

Went to the local PC store and there was a notice at the front. All 50 series GPUs will not be stocked until after Feb 30. That included all AIB cards. If this was not a paper launch I don't know. The other thing is that so many reviewers also got sent 5090s.

RTX 60 will sell 3000 USD xD

There's an idea for nGreedia.
Forget about selling 100 video cards for the whole world. And forget the scalpers.
Why don't you do a Global online auction for all the cards they have. That way, only the riches of the rich can auction all their money. This way, nGreedia can become the first 10 Trillion $ company within an year!

And they should do that for all their new video cards releases. Why waste time and effort shipping 10 cards/store, instead of actioning online all of them at once?
Money is the new GOD. Greed is the new Bible.
You're welcome!
