Yeston unveiled its striking Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB Sakura Atlantis card design around mid-January, along with an NDA-busting specification disclosure. The Chinese board partner seemingly disregarded AMD's guarded approach; by happily revealing an allocated pool of 16 GB VRAM. Later on, teasers emerged via the brand's social media accounts—including photos from an outdoor fashion shoot. Press outlets were expecting Yeston's launch lineup to consists of Sakura Atlantis Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 SKUs, but "bog standard" Sakura options have also appeared online.

The company's bafflingly abstract design is a familiar property; due to its deployments on a variety of past-gen hardware. According to one of Yeston's promotional images, their standard Sakura design only applies to a lone Radeon RX 9070 XT SKU. Both product tiers were accompanied by a message from their manufacturer: "Sakura And Sakura Atlantis are here! Yeston RX 9070 Series graphics cards are built to deliver all you need for ultra-fast gaming, with next-level visuals and future-ready features, supercharged with AI."

Appropriately, the Sakura Atlantis shroud, backplate and fans are decorated with all sorts of ocean-themed graphics and engravings. Plus an obligatory "waifu" illustration. Additionally, Yeston is spreading this pearlescent aesthetic over to the NVIDIA side of their portfolio. VideoCardz has found a JD.com listing of Yeston's Radeon RX 9070 XT Sakura Atlantis model. Chinese market pricing (including VAT) is 5099 RMB (~$702 USD), so 100 RMB north of Team Red's recommended entry point.

The standard Radeon RX 9070 XT Sakura model seems to be Yeston's MSRP baseline conformant offering; priced at 4999 RMB (~$688 USD).

Official social media accounts have documented the company's participation in last week's full introduction of Radeon RX 9070 Series graphics cards. Brand representatives were present on-stage at AMD's Beijing press conference:

Should I do a poll asking people if it's a good idea to buy one of these? 'Cause I really, really want one of these.

Why does it matter what other ppl think about your choice of hardware?
Yeston is not exactly a noname brand its just not well known outside of the Asian market but they are actually legit and been around for a while.

As for the design choice well thats entirely subjective and no one should tell you if you can have that in your PC or not.:) 'Like how I'm playing cultured games and buy their merch and I don't give a damn what other ppl think about it in general'
I recall GamersNexus testing out some of their cards and they were okay with it in regards of performance and actual design. 'not great not terrible but they get the job done'

I wish Yeston made darker variants of these. My favourite "waifu card" is MSI's 4070 with the dragon lady due the dark theme but I'll never buy one because it's overpriced.

Help me out Yeston, just one dark card with a waifu on top. That's all I ask.

If you want one, buy one. Screw what anyone else thinks. It's your life and you only get one, enjoy it.

Their baseline MSRP model reuses a cooler design from their previous GPU's, but it looks neat, and isnt nearly as bad to reuse as some cooler designs.. The new shroud with the atlantis one looks cool but its kind of samey.. would like to see them experiment more. Maybe next time they release a GPU with diff colors? I really like the pastels but I think they could push this artsy, anime esque look to the next level with some more experimentation.

Will be difficult to show waifu with standard setup.

They can start by excluding the Waifu on the card and just selling / including Waifu decals you can attach. It's a win-win for variety. Heck could even do replaceable shroud / backplate with custom designs. Make a standard for it so it would create a 3rd party marketplace for custom backplates and shrouds. I've never liked the idea that cool designs are always limits to just some SKUs.

I think the waifu stuff has its place.. I think we just need less boring, gun metal / black matte boxes.

It's there really a market for graphics cards of such design?

Agree but i wish they were not blocking part of the airflow.

Tasteful levels of boob. Different color schemes from everyone else. I like them. Not really to my taste, but it shows Yeston trying to step-up from their usual "oh crap, i need to run a bunch of monitors cheap" cards.

They seem to be transforming from "look at our card, it's got BOOBZ" to "look at our card, it's got GIRLZ". Definitely an improvement of sorts.

It seems they reused the cooler. How boring.

I like the design. I wanted to buy some hardware with different theme but there is hardly anything here available. The only thing which was available was the Asrock B650 Livemixer mainboard.
There are no offers for colorful meow edition mainbaords and no yeston sakura graphic cards here in central europe.

I'd prefer just boobs.... maybe designed around the fans lmao.

Where’s the Sakura Sugar you cowards? That shit was mad in a very specific way that resonates with me.

That glowing anime gurl stencil drawing is absolute nonsense and I like it.

I prefer my girls to have a nose.

Has anyone actually gone through a thought process like "the price on that PowerColor card isn't bad, and Sapphire's cooling is superb, but... BOOBIES"?

Or something like "I think I'll skip this generation because the uplift is kind of meh, but... OH MY GOD, THOSE TITS"?
