The next generation of the award-winning all-in-one coolers is here. The Liquid Freezer III Pro features optimized premium fans and takes ARCTIC's CPU water cooling to a new level of performance. Better fans obviously, as the article has stated.

I hope they have also improved the pump. I was ready to go with Arctic when I built my new 9800X3D rig last fall but ended up buying the Alphacool Eisbaer 360 instead because there are way too many horror stories of a noisy, rattling pump (starting at ~40% to 45% rpm) to be found in product reviews and forums. Many people suggested that people stick with the LF II and maybe even buy a spare one as long as they are still available because the LF III was generally regarded as a crap product in comparison to its predecessor.

I'm very happy with the Alphacool btw. Great product, silent, decent temps and no annoying software required (just like with Arctic products which is why I considered them in the first place).

I don't see it, since the overall design is just more of the same ole same same IMHO...

OTOH, at least the "white" one is like, actually "WHITE", including the screws, tubing joints/connections etc, so there's that :D

Will wait for reviews, but heading over to da Zon now to put a couple in my cart, since I have some clients waiting on all-white builds, which are almost complete except for the cooling. They'll be so happy that I can finally deliver them soon, and I'll be happy cause I can get PAID for them....
 
I have several LF II's in all sizes. IMO they're far more versatile than the LF III's because of backwards compatibility with older mobo's & CPU's. While the LF III may have a slightly better radiator and pump, the two-point mounting system isn't nearly as good as the LF II's four-point. I've spoken with Arctic on the telephone about them offering an optional 4-point mounting setup for LF III's and was told they've been considering it. I won't be buying any LF III's until they change their current mandatory 2-point mounting for Intel products. My LF II's work great when used with high cfm aftermarket fans (Silverstone & Delta). Arctic makes some fantastic products and their customer service is unbeatable but they need to make the LF III line adaptable to a wider range of mobos plus offer a proven better mounting system.
 
The non-Pro version use 3x P12 PWM fans, 200–1800 rpm, 56.30 cfm | 95.65 m³/h
The Pro version has 3 x P12 Pro fans, 600–3000 rpm, 77 cfm | 131 m³/h
My initial guess was the fans may have been the P12 MAX version, but the specs above do not match with the MAX:

400-3000 rpm, 81.04 cfm | 137.69m³/h

Wish they'd just sell the white version WITHOUT fans... I always replace them anyway to match the rest of the fans in the case.
 
My Thermalright 240 for $50 Canadian also does 3300. There is no other choice for the informed builder.
 
It's disingenuous to show performance graphs that do not start from 0.
Because of this a mere 2-4c difference can seem way bigger than it actually is.
And Intel/AMD graphs do not even start from the same non-zero number either.

Assuming conversion from $125 that would make it 115€.
37€ more expensive. Or 47% more expensive just for better fans?

Not sure about P12 Pro, but P12 Max costs ~6,5€ per fan compared to ~4,5€ per fan on P12 PWM.
So at worst swapping the fans would introduce a 6€ difference, not 37€.

Im confused as to where does this price increase come from? Do the P12 Pro fans cost ~12,3€ then?
Also i cant find any information about supposed P12 Pro being announced or sold separately.

Pretty sure this is a street price vs MSRP type of situation. I double checked and the launch MSRP of the black 360 was $130 though they had anniversary pricing and I don't think it ever got back up to the supposed MSRP. I imagine the new ones will likely maintain their pricing for a while before dropping some. It's ~$35 difference right now on amazon in the US which is also definitely not worth the additional cost.
 
I'll be sticking with my LF II until they release an alternative mounting system for Intel that isn't a contact frame design.
 
I am technically already using this cooler. No, actually the bigger version of it. Last year I bought a Liquid Freezer III 420 and decided to switch the stock fans to P14 Max. It is a massive overkill for my 9800X3D, but I like how quiet and cool my system is. The cooler itself was 75 euro brand new and each fan was 8.5 euro a piece. Meaning it was a lot cheaper than buying this 360 mm cooler. Not only that, but it probably performs better than it too. So far I am extremely happy with the performance. The combination of this cooler + PTM7950 keeps my CPU chill at all times.

I've basically did the same but with six of them in push-pull config for my 9950x, i've never had such quiet PC

Isn't an overkill to have them at push and pull? My case can't really fit them in this configuration, while also having 3x140 mm on the front, but either way I don't really see a use case for that many fans. I already have 7x140 mm and 5x120 mm as is. Have you tested the difference between 3 and 6 fans on the AIO? Is it at least 2-3 degrees C° at the same noise level?
