Leadtek Research Inc., a global front runner in extreme visual graphics technology development, announces the launch of the latest products in its WinFast series. The new WinFast PX9800 GTX+, represents a dazzling 15% speed boost over the PX9800 GTX. The NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX-based graphics card can vamp up performance like never before and provide optimal power management with HybridPower technology. Compatible with 3-way SLI technology, the new card gives every user the thrill of extreme HD gaming and first-rate entertainment experience.

Featuring a powerful single GeForce 9800 GTX GPU with 128 streaming fast cores each running at a blistering all time record GPU clock speed of 738MHz, WinFast PX9800 GTX+ delivers the smoothest ever game-play quality and exceptional value on price/performance. With the latest Microsoft DirectX 10 with full Shader Model 4.0 support, it can also offer realistic film quality gaming effects, guaranteeing users best possible performance in 3D graphics user interface under the Windows Vista operating system.

Even more, the cutting-edge NVIDIA PhysX technology brings games to life with massively destructible environments and ultra-realistic physical interaction. With sweaty palms and racing heart gamers get more deeply involved than ever in a virtual but realistic gaming environment.

WinFast PX9800 GTX+ with NVIDIA HybridPower technology allows users to switch to the motherboard GeForce GPU when running non graphically-intensive applications for a silent and low power PC experience. Also PX9800 GTX+ supports industry leading 3-way NVIDIA SLI technology, providing incredible performance scaling by implementing AFR (Alternate Frame Rendering) with solid and state-of-the-art drivers.

Last but not least, WinFast PX9800 GTX+ comes bundled with the most popular and award-winning adventure game, Neverwinter Nights 2, in which each decision directly affects each character and the passage of time itself along with excellent music and, for the most part, voice acting.

I want to see what volt modding can do to this baby. Sure, it'll be limited by the RAM in games, but Oced good she'd be a super mean folding machine.

I'm really waiting to see how this card can do! I mean, Damulta's set up is nothing but sick! :respect:

The language used in this is more impressive than the card itself.

I remember a couple weeks ago I said a die shrink would improve frame rate and power consumption than I was called a idiot.

so this card is merely a die shrink?

@ calvary : who called you an idiot?

AMDorks call people who oppose their views NVIDIOTs, and vice-versa. .....says Uncyclopedia / E.Dramatica...don't remember who.

I don't remember I tried keywords in the search script but couldn't find it, im pretty sure it was in a official "9800GTX" news bit so it shouldn't of been deleted.

from a pcper preview of the 9800GTX+

according to moore's law smaller the die, more transistors

a picture for mike lol.

It's important to note that packing more transistors into the same unit of space increases the power density of the chip, because there are more electronic circuits working away and consuming power in the same amount of space. However, shrinking the die size is more than enough to compensate for the increase in power density's effect on the over all power dissipation of the chip.

his argument was nvidia shrunk the G92-440 from 65nm to 55nm and thats it (due to time constraints) and according to the graph above it consumes more power than a 9800GTX which he was right at the time but the toms article and my my logic say otherwise.

not sure what the transistor count is on the GTX+ compared to the GTX. if they didn't add any transistors and it's the same clocks why is it faster? I know nvidia has been working on the 55nm process for a while because they released the 9800GT which is the first desktop 55nm GPU on nVidia's side and the 9800GTX+ was probably some counter move made by the release of the 48xx series what a month ago?

the clocks are up from a 65nm GTX, it accounts for the small increase in speed.

however the original 9800GTX was an excellent overclocker, i have high hopes for the 55nm model :)

should make volt modders happy. assuming they didn't increase it for the stock clocks which is really an overclock.

how could this make volt modder's happy?

smaller die = less power which potentially means less core voltage which means the more we get to play with.

wish i knew how to use a soldering iron............

conductive silver paint. lol don't even need a soldering iron don't ask me where to find it in canada though.

- Christine

thnx but i don't think that would work for what i need.

no not for video card.

did you bump your head or something?

im sitting in front of my computer at 3:30am watching reruns of house, with a bowl of mr.noodles burning my crotch talking about conductive silver paint.

ROFLMFAO

at least it's mr.noodle's burning your crotch and not the 7yr itch

oh great I see I have joined your wall of shame.
