Larrabee Launch Title Concept Art Released

News is that Larrabee already has a game engine optimised for it and there are two publishers (Offset and Red5) already holding its licenses.
So do they actually have Larrabee samples? :wtf:

edit: I like your new avatar :)

Needn't. Dev's code for hardware before its release (to them) by emulating it using huge compute farms.

I suppose that makes sense, but I still feel like an emulation of that nature would be faster than the real thing. But I have no real knowledge or anything to base that on :ohwell:

Faster/slower doesn't matter. The object is to program software that's 100% compatible with the hardware. When they do get working cards, they'll later test/code/optimise it.

that game dont look special to me..

Since larrabee hasnt actually been made yet, people should realise that the gameplay demo is probably using an ati/nvidia card. So it doesn't give any idea of performance.

Also, a game which can be played so well on modern hardware, which is going to be released 2010+ ? Nothing special imo.

so does anyone know who is making it like blizz. or ea that kind of thing.? or is it just made by larrabee

are these via ray tracing rendered scenes?
They don't look real.
If this is INTEL's real time ray tracing then im not impressed.
AMD's Ruby Demo looks much real.

Concept art == aristic impression.

I think (hell, I hope) he talks about the videos. Otherwise...

On topic. Not impressed at all by the graphics, doesn't look like a 2x times-next-gen game. See, I wasn't impressed when I first saw it, because I knew it would be a 2009/2010 game, and Larrabee (or the time?) hasn't make it look better. Even worse, it has made the game a 2010/2011 game. Almost everything the Offset engine has to offer is already implemented in Crysis. Of course with less detail, but that's what happens when you aim at 2+ generations of graphics cards ahead. I expect DOOM4 to crunch that game on graphics and it's supposed to come earlier isn't it.

On the other hand the game looks like it will be very fun and somehow like it will have the "greatness" and "touch" of superproduction films. Like interactive LOTR. I love the big walls and colums and settings in general on those videos and the dragons are COOL. Those scenes in the videos could very well be the only 2 great scenes of the game though. How many times did you guys go to the cinema expecting a great film and you could have saved the money because the trailer WAS the film?

wtf is every one farhting abouth this topic is for larrabee to show what it can do
Larrabee is rendering the stuff you see there
dont even ask if larrabee or ea made this Larrabee is not a company! its a piece of hardware! ea is not a hardware !
