Awesome components, very nice OC, I like the vid cards :P, very nice rig. 8/10 , check mine out!

Nice and clean....great job...

There is alot of space in those things eh!!!

I have one still in the box in the attic I have no idea what I'm going to do with it. Just bought it since the things were cheap.

Thanks, yeah i got mine for $50 after tax. Great deal, even if your not water cooling, you should do the radgrillz mod. Its the finishing touch. With the grill and the windowed panel, i have about $120 in it all together.

I have enough antifreeze in there to kill a horse. I didn't buy my WC stuff new, i got a good deal on it. Otherwise i would have gotten fuzion or something. When i rebuild my loop again, i'll buy a copper top lol.

Just for the record, you know that anti-freeze is a coolant inhibitor correct?

Yes, i do lol.

I mixed it about 20%ish antifreeze in a gallon of distilled

Updated, got a couple 4850s!

Looks good.

Good job on the top mount rad install, gotta love those Rocketfish cases.

You should try running strait distilled with a few drops of copper sulfide, your temps will be a bit better than running distilled with antifreeze.

Thanks

Yeah i would but i have the aluminum top on the GTX.. i don't want to risk any corrosion, right?

Well the radiator is copper already so corrosion is a slight possibility, I know that the GTX is supposed to be coated to resist corrosion but I have seen some cases where it has happened. The copper sulfide acts as a biocide to kill algae, petras sells it and it is called PTs Nuke Biocide. Next time you take your loop apart for maintenance have a look inside your Apogee GTX and make sure there isn't any corrosion. If you run into any problems get a copper top for it.

Yeah, its not suppose to corrode. But you always know how that goes. lol

If i ever tear my loop down again, im going to check it and if it is corroding im going to get a copper top for it. Along with the antfreeze, i was told to add a few drops of povidone iodine to act as a biocide i believe. I think it works, its been about 4 months, and its just as clean as the day i put it together

Bunch of updates. Click the link for the big pictures

I've changed the reservoir location, put a new power switch on the top of the case, removed the door, and put in some rocker switches. CCL switch is were the old power switch was. The one lit up is for the controller panel, that lights the two LED fans. So with those two off, i can completely black out the computer with it on and it wont over heat!. I haven't come up with a use for the other two though.

I love the new location of the res, its so pretty. lol
