The Mountain Mods "Ascension Create Your Own" Series cases promise to be the ultimate customizable case for the PC enthusiast. The new Crystal Ship version offers acrylic panels to show off your PC's inner workings. The optional new XL-ATX motherboard tray can easily house the new ten slot enthusiast motherboards. Just how customizable is it and what new options is MountainMods offering?

very nice unit. Instructions or lack of would prevent me from going that route.

excellent review fit, been waiting for it

but too damn expensive for me though, but still a very nice case/fridge

Is it me or is this case simply ugly ? To put it nicely it lacks design......Like Fih correctly pointed out it does look like a fridge....

Nice....shame this thing is so expensive .... but well quality costs.....the design/size is a matter of taste

I found it only through self

Id actually mess around with one of these. I've been a fan of Mountain Mods since they started and the owner is regularly at LANS and case mod contests. CPU magazine show cases his stuff a lot. Danger Den also has a father and son team that does well as well. Good review and price is pretty good for the customization.

wished i could afford one of those! i would do it with a quickness and add more rads like you did fit!

The Fit's Megarig case. Doesnt look that good, but it wins big time in functionality and uniqueness.

that is a SICK and HUGE case you have....
very unique, original, and of course CYO..

is it as tall ass your knee??
cause i see it have 10 expansion slot and a LOT more room above it..

too bad it is priced the same as my current rig...

mid thigh...

its not THAT big after all i guess, just very huge

its 26" tall with the wheels.

18" x 18" at the base.

inside is 24" tall.

Big compared to normal cases, the server racks will make this look like a mITX case.

One of the better case reviews I've seen in a while. It gives TPU reviews a sense of the SUPER BUILDS and to whom this should appeal. Great points and pictures. Again one of the best case reviews I've read in a while.

great review - thanks...

Also loved the cooling installed...

Great job on the review Fits:toast:
I think MM is a great company and that case is an example of being able to order a case with the features you want~

Great review, but for so much cash i can build one myself out of brushed aluminium. Really.

WOW!!! I want one, I would happily pay $500 for a case like that, it would last forever. I personally would rather it be made of brushed ally Lian-li style. At least if one of the side panels got damaged you could easily make up another one.

Gr8 review Fit, have you got your dual i7 board fitted up yet??

i've always admired the MM cases. Maybe someday I'll step up to one...

The Classified Mobo is just dead sexy in those pics. Glad I got one from you!

what kind of water pump is that? im assuming since its with all those rads that its possibly a 120v pump?

Kick-Ass Review, Case & Build. I've had my current case for over 10 year, So I know a case of this size & Quality would last Far longer

Awesome work Fitz! I WANT ONE!!!

Did you have to get the panels custom made or are they now standard?
